“I was beginning to think the location of this home was going to prevent an adequate Internet connection, after trying CenturyLink and Viasat, both of which failed miserably. (TDS does not serve our area just east of Sisters.) Based on neighbor input, we decided to try Yellowknife, and we are really pleased with both the performance and (especially) the customer service. Everyone we've had contact with has been great, from the front office people to the installers and in particular the tech support. In our latest interaction, we were trying to figure out how we could possibly be going over our monthly limit frequently, given our relatively limited usage. Not only did tech support help educate us on possible causes, they also loaned us a tracking router to pinpoint exactly what devices and processes might be contributing. With Taylor's guidance, we found that OneDrive was sucking up huge amounts of information, and he even led us through the process to adjust the settings. The tracking router has confirmed that the changes have taken effect, and I could not be happier. We were a Bend Broadband customer for 10 years before moving to Sisters, and we NEVER got customer service like this.”

“Mike Hoover (GM of store) has been phenomenal, stepping into a role outside of expectations. Our local outside business relationship manager has been gone for several months leaving a lot of businesses stranded when it comes to expediting requests/assistance with company operations. We recently had a network extender for use at our yard that had failed. Calling 1-800 proved a waste of time as they sent us the wrong device after specifically stating and describing the device. After frustration with Verizon, we decided to visit the store. Mike Hoover stepped up to the plate and worked with me quickly to achieve what we needed. There is not another store manager who would have done this as it is NOT their role. Verizon AND Central Oregon are lucky to have a guy like this running the show.
