I have been in this shop downtown several times in the last year. The vast collection of quality furniture lines and accessories they have are lovely, just feels like home - like the name.My observation having been in a lot, is that the staff is just ok. Some are warm and friendly, some are aloof, pretentious and a bit awkward. Overall, I have been able to connect with some more than others so this really hasn’t been an issue for me. I could see how some people are turned off. At times the floor conversation isn’t as professional as it could be among the staff talking through issues in front of customers. The depth of knowledge among the staff varies widely and some have a better design eye than others.Perhaps more product training and clear company culture development would be helpful to align better with their name - Haven Home Style.Since Bend is fairly limited in quality home furnishing options, I would recommend going into Haven Home Style, they have a lot to offer, just know that the staff is a bit inconsistent.I do like that you can buy any item right off the floor, you don’t have to special order everything. I also like that they are a locally owned business.Despite their inconsistencies, I have placed a large custom order for a piece that I really love.

Well... I tried buying something here. I got no acknowledgment when I walked in and they were not busy. I ended up leaving and going home to measuring the space I had in mind for the piece of furniture. I called and was told I would receive a call back with the exact measurements. Never received a call. Then I emailed. No reply. Not sure how they make sales. I have moved on since.

My experience in this store has been a mixed bag. I have encountered sales people who were very helpful and friendly but the last time I was in, which was very recently, I was not greeted and when I walked past two employees who were chatting with each other neither said a word to me which is when I headed for the door

I give this place two stars only because of the cool stuff they have. The employees are incredibly condescending and my wife and I were immediately judged for assuming we didn't have money. We were told to take pictures to find similar options as if we couldn't afford it. Too bad we came in there ready to spend up to $5k on a center piece to hang over our dining room table. Would rather give money to a chain store above this shop. Too bad.

First Lexington sectional was made wrong. It should never have left the factory. Haven Home stood by us and the defective sectional was fully replaced, but it took months for the new one to arrive. Haven also made sure we got a free cushion upgrade for our inconvenience, which was a nice gesture.When the first sectional was delivered, they scratched the floor and didn't put it together correctly.When the replacement sectional was delivered, we requested that they put it together correctly. But one of the four links between sections was simply not connected. No excuse for this.Overall, very good in-store service, poor delivery, and questionable quality, at least for Lexington sectionals.

Horrible experience. Was in the store for 20 minutes with 2 girlfriends looking around and were never ONCE greeted. I would never buy anything based off my experience today. Sad customer service skills and there were three women working!

Love this store - they have such a great selection of furniture, prints, home decor. I am very challenged when it comes to style and design and the staff (particularly Yvonne) has been amazingly helpful. I have purchased a couch, a chair, three prints and a bunch of small things -- all which work beautifully in our new home.
