“Anyone who knows me knows I love our Costco! My "Bend wardrobe" is full of great Costco buys that are easily coordinated. Quality products are always available. And the employees are the most knowledgeable, helpful and cheerful people around. It's a joy to shop there!”

“I love Bi-mart it reminds me of old-time Bend. Also best price for bird food. Get the membership, it's cheap and you can buy everything here from barrettes to bullets. Love bi-mart for all types of bird food, cheapest in town.”

“Pretty good sized and decently stocked Kohls. You can usually find some killer deals at Kohls if you have the credit card and the app. We got some vans for my son for 15 bucks and a $200 Columbia jacket for the wife for 45 bucks. Spent less than 100 and got clothes for all 3 kids and her coat. Worth stopping in your looking to save some cash. Hit those clearance racks.”

“The employees have been surprisingly nice for a box store. The clothes are not always the best quality but the selection is pretty good and they have some good home goods too. Great prices.”

“To the review that said Sean is a horrible manager, I’m an employee who works at TJ Maxx currently and I can tell you that if he kicks you out of the store, it’s for a good reason. Sean is an amazing boss, one of the best I’ve ever had so far.And tbh, tj maxx is good riddance if you aren’t coming here again. Other wise the store is a little sloppy, but as a fellow employee we do treat our customers well. We aren’t perfect, but we never fail to get a job done.”

“Went prom dress shopping with my grandson's girlfriend.
Found the perfect gown; it was on the mannequin. Had the sales woman take it down for us, and it fit perfectly! And, it was on sale!
Customer service was awesome, and the selection was a beautiful array of formal dresses in every size.”

“Love Costco bakery! Sadly, no bakeries in Bend have learned how to make as good a cake as Costco yet, and it's an acceptable price, too! BTW-can't expect the highest quality ingredients for that price!”

“Are you kidding me? Who doesn't love Costco?! We have a love hate relationship. I love going there and hate looking at my visa statement at the end of the month! Haha! Their return policy is better than no other, the quality of items they carry is guaranteed. Pricing is generally the best for what you buy. You can always get help by asking an employee at the front for assistance. I kinda like the self checkout lane if only have a few items, otherwise it's worth the wait for a checker. I will go to Costco forever until the end of the”

“The Bend Fred Meyer did really well during the time I was living in Bend, Oregon during the Pandemic. It's better if you are shopping with an idea of what items you want to buy. I recommend taking a list or a rough sketch of the item(s) on the list. Also, there are plenty of options for shopping at this Bend Fred Meyer. I noticed that during Pandemic most of the employees that were working (that weren't at the end of their shifts) wore a buff or a face mask or were given those disposable masks at the Checkout (the register)... by managers on duty (MODs). There were a few other shoppers who didn't bring their spectacles (prescription glasses) who didn't also bring a magnifying glass (I have a pocket one for my darling Husband when he needs to read the fine print on some of the packages). Those few other shoppers usually went to the reading glasses section and "borrowed" those readers. I could see the tags still on those readers while the senior citizens were reading the bottles and packages. I don't recommend buying readers unless one has gotten a prescription for a pair before. I recommend paying the co-pay for prescription glasses for reading. Also, if one doesn't have insurance there are options. Most of the other shoppers that were my age were looking for deli sandwiches or other picnic type items because on those afternoons I spent in Bend, Oregon there was sunshine on at least four days and evenings. Most of my trips to this Bend Fred Meyer... I stop and look at the Fred Meyer Jewelry counters... to look for charms or other items for my Pandora style bracelet. I've located a few that I liked over the years. Nobody at this Bend Fred Meyer is as friendly as the associates at the local Fred Meyer stores in Portland, Oregon (who worked between 2008 and 2012) though. I've noticed that some of the people who have worked retail are tired of the drama and bullcrap from specific customers. It's the same few customers who are the most vocal. Those customers are sourp*sses, in general.”

“This past year I've had the best experience with Fred Meyer pharmacy. Shout out to Jazzy! She is a wonderful tech and always works to get you your Rx as efficiently as possible. But really the whole team this year has been awesome. Thanks guys!”

“Walmart is the best when it comes to delivery. They always make sure I get what I order. It's a life saver. Since the pandemic Walmart has a monthly and yearly membership that saves a ton of cash M. Meehan”

“Bend Costco Tire center was able to get my in for a walk in SUPER last minute. My car was wobbling and I needed a torque check and rebalancing. With only 30 min before they officially closed they were willing to take me because the bolts on my tires were loose. Super thankful for their willingness to take me last minute! I am really glad I went to them for tires.”

“This is less about the store and more about our experience with the Customer Service team, specifically Gabi. Huge props to her for ALL her help. We had a bunch of baby items to return from our registry months later; it was messy to say the least. She calmly and happily went above and beyond to make sure we left the store happy. This experience felt like pre-pandemic Target where employees are there to help customers, which isn't always our experience at this store. It's that extra step that makes all the difference.”

“Austin was terrific; very patient and knowledgeable. My extended warranty plan, through Lowe's, does a horrible job of connecting the user to the technician (hence only 4 stars). Once you get Austin to your house, he knows his stuff!”
