“The Street Dog Hero team is AMAZING! They are passionate, informative, and know how to put on an awesome event. Founder, Marianne, would give you the shirt off her back, and her dedication and drive is admirable! If you are looking to foster, adopt, volunteer, donate, or whatever it may be, SDH is 100% worth your time!”

“I do like coming here sometimes , but as of lately the patrons that have been visiting have been really upset and shady and very antisocial and sometimes act out in violent temper outbursts. Quite frankly, I get scared for my safety and the dogs can be frightening as well because you don’t know if they are vaccinated or not and you don’t know their temperament at all. Plus the pot smoking and drug use on the property has increased which makes me extremely uncomfortable sorry guys but I think that some extra measures need to be taken to clean this place up”

“When the farmers markets are closed, this is where we go for local and also some bulk foods. Locavore is more than a store, it's an important nonprofit organization making it possible for local farmers, ranchers, honeybee outfits to reach us customers. Big freezers full of lamb, beef, other meats from local ranches. Prices have gotten so high we can't afford local meat so often anymore, when we can it's great to have Locavore to stop by. Good selection of local-made gift items and food items. Pickles, soaps, farmers market types of things. Small selection of produce, typical high prices for local, nice to have it available. Customer service and friendliness of staff is hit-or-miss. Some people might be volunteers? They seem untrained or like they don't understand what customer service is about. My wife has a disability and was surprised by how dismissive they were when she needed help. That got me mad but she says they followed up well, once she complained, she's happy now so I am too. Nice to have a place for high quality bulk organic foods like nuts, quinoa, oils, good stuff from Hummingbird over in Eugene. However the prices aren't always great. Sometimes we pay twice as much compared to a similar item over at Natural Grocers. Unfortunately at Natural Grocers they don't have Oregon-local and they don't have real bulk foods either. They call it bulk but it is prepackaged. So, Locavore is the only place I know of in Central Oregon with this level of high quality bulk foods.”

“This place has housed me twice. Once on the singles, and once on the family side. When my family and I ran out of options, we were living in hotels with 4 kids and barely surviving. The Bethlehem inn housed us for a few months and we were able to save our money and put a down payment on a home. Almost 2 years later we still live here in our home and our kids childhood home . I still think about them a lot and how much them and their staff had helped us get on our feet and thought I would post here a review thanking them.”

“My experience with the Council on Aging in Bend has been incredible and completely exceeded my expectations. I needed help with my Dad post stroke and my Mom who was the caretaker and was was really struggling and needed help but didn't know what to do. I was easily able to set up an appointment to have someone come to my parents house free of charge and sit us down to talk about all our options. Wes came out to their house on time and ready to roll. I'm so grateful for how he handled them and helped us make a plan. It felt like he was an advocate for me and how I could help them better when they were being stubborn and prideful. He was direct, tactful, very knowledgeable, could easily handle how older generations act and behave at this stage of their lives. Wes was a game changer. I now have very specific steps of what to do to help my parents and I went from feeling completely overwhelmed to empowered and optimistic that I know what to do to support them better.”

“Love the Atmosphere of Downtown Bend! The Santa Cruz type of Vibe, one has when in Bend really reminds me of when I was a child shopping and traveling with my Grandparents. Nice area to bring the family. There are a noticeable group of those that bring a dirty hippie feeling but they do seem to relegate themselves to a small corner of the downtown area and spew their causes, any hyped up event the can tie to social issues.Overall Bend's Downtown has great shops, Restaurants and Galleries! Wonderful Art Galleries that really bring the flavor of the region to the Forefront of spirit.Todd”
