Friendly and professional staff!! They got Hercules the care and medicine he needed so we could get back to our lives quickly! Took him in after my lil guy had been sick for a few days. They held him for observation only a few hours and already had him diagnosed correctly. We both slept through the night last night!! If you live in the Bend area, I absolutely recommend this animal hospital! Thank you for caring for Hercules!

They don't do heartworm shots and they didn't give me heartworm pills. I was able to get in pretty fast but they didn't have the correct dose of tge medicine my dog needs ( Librella) and she has been suffering for two weeks. She has an appointment in 4 days and I hope things turn around. The receptionist, nurse and vet were kind.

Great veterinarians and staff, very friendly and make the hard days as painless as possible. Never felt they have taken advantage financially and offer great care. Very down to earth and honest about your animals health.

I love this place very much.there very respectful and kind and most importantly I like how they take farm animals and small animals.we need more vets in bend that takes exotic pets.not everyone has just dogs and cats.and the fact they do take exotic pets that means a lot especially to make the world a better place

This is a wonderful animal hospital. Sadly I've had to come here to put down my pets. They are very considerate and loving towards those going through hard times.
I have been there for my mom's pets. They really care.

We have been taking our cats to Dr. Wesley for a couple of years. Recently,our kitty had very bad breath. We took her in & Dr. Wesley found an abscess. They took care of it & cleaned her teeth. She acts like a whole new cat! She had very little re coop time. Isabella,Dr. Wesley's assistant is fabulous! I am thankful for the care that was given to Bitsy! Thank you!

Not a client but have inquired a few times about appointments for my goats when they’ve been needing to be seen in the past. Not once but twice now when I’ve called about an appointment, I get told they can’t see my animals right away since I’m not a current established client and they help their current clients first before anything. The first time when I had a serious concern about one of my goats, the doctor called me (Dr Matt) and I asked if I needed to be seen on emergency if it’s possible and how to go about it. The response I got was, “well we help our clients first and help non clients if we have the time..” I’m sorry but how rude and disrespectful to someone needing help for their animals. This put a reallllly bad taste in my mouth about this clinic. Not very many goat veterinarians around central Oregon but boy will I look elsewhere for help when it’s needed. Thanks for nothing.

Dr. Matt Wesley DVM was our first point of contact at Bend Animal Hospital when we got our first dog in 2016. They had come highly recommended by our breeder. Dr Matt walked in, sat down on the floor ready to pet our dog and looked up with a smile asking, “what are your questions.” It was our first dog. We knew nothing. He was willing to sit and talk about dogs for as long as we liked until we felt completely comfortable with everything. No pressure. We kept trying to cut the appointment short out of respect for his time as a professional. Surely he must be busy. We were dismissed on cutting the appointment short. And granted as much time as it took to answer every one of our questions fully and completely.
During our first meeting, our time with him was purely that. A wonderful conversation about dogs. His knowledge, compassion and love for animals is beyond reproach. He has become our go to for all questions animal related. In the eight years we have worked with him, our respect for his professionalism has never wavered. Our dog has experienced significant medical maladies. All of which are handled with the same respect, care and attention to detail noted on our first visit. We would follow him anywhere with any animal.
Not to ignore the remaining staff of bend animal hospital. All the vet techs and doctors have proven exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly as well. They truly are a talented team.
Overall. Excellent experience. Our breeder was correct. They are all fantastic.

We have been taking our bulldogs to Bend Animal Hospital for 13 years and I highly recommend them. All the doctors are knowledgeable and friendly. They recently helped us through the arduous process of completing the necessary paperwork to travel abroad with our dog. They are always helpful and answer all of our questions.

I found this clinic, during the last year or so of my dog’s life. We had a very dangerous misdiagnosis from another local vet. Trusting my gut, I reached out to Dr. Lynn Brown. She immediately had my back, confirmed the misdiagnosis, and was with us every step of the way. The staff was fully engaged & diligent & kind. They all handled my dog’s vet anxiety gently. If/when I have another pup, I could not imagine going anywhere else for pup care.
