The most passive aggressive customer service experience ever. It was 8:30 PM and not a lot was going on. I was at the self checkout and realized I forgot to clip a coupon (I was buying one thing of ice cream on a 102° day) and I had left my phone in the car. I mentioned I'd need to go and clip the coupon. Who I believe to be a manager (blue, solid shirt, 50-60's) said to me, "well, you have to do that first. I'm going to have to void the whole order now." Her tone was absolutely rude, and then she started talking to an associate near her who seemed to be confused about the 'situation' and she began explaining and then waved her off after having the tone as if I was complicating/ruining her day. I left to grab my phone and ran back in and she tried to explain to me what she had JUST explained in the same rude manner. I guess I hope her day is better.

Generally have a good supply and variety of the items I am looking for, fresh produce, helpful staff and always super clean and tidy store!!! I shop the deals and save a ton of money with my just for u app and offers. Accepting all offers for the opportunity of stacking coupons.

Remember the days when you could just walk into a grocery store and get groceries. When you just pick something up off the shelf and knew exactly how much it was going to be at the register without jumping through any hoops. Remember the ease of navigating a checkout line... Those days are done my friends. I wanted to Safeway just to get a handful of groceries so that my kids and I could make some pizza. Over 25% of the items that I picked out had some sort of a digital coupon connected to them which requires you to navigate an app in order to utilize the savings. Keep in mind this is on top of information you've already provided them is such as your phone number and address to be a "member".
So to sum up what shopping has become at Safeway... Now you have to be a member, download an app, scan an individual item when you pick it up off the shelf, scan your own groceries at the counter (only two actual registers were open at 5:00pm on a Thursday one of which was 15 items or less) bag your own groceries.
It's about another 5 miles to WinCo and I will make that trip every single time from now on. There's absolutely nothing that could drag me into that store ever again. I'd rather just go somewhere where there's one price on everything and zero hoops. What a terrible business model.

I use the Albertsons/Safeway pharmacy for a few of my prescriptions to be filled. This pharmacy is on it. I can really depend on them when it comes to refilling my orders on time each and every time. I am well pleased with them so far. I give them a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating for their services.

Dirty store with filthy dirty transients coming from China Hat. The produce and fruit section is disgusting and everything is expired. Long lines and walmart nasty's are also shopping at this location. It's just that feeling of gross people and a old dirty store. Keeping it real! Would be much better if we had city council and mayor that gave a sheet about this city and kicked all these losers out of China Hat and the rest of the city.

First they changed it from Albertsons to safeway(very dumb, we have 3 safeways now) and I was waiting to buy a cake out of there case where you can't get them yourself for about 20 minutes and nobody came to help me.
