They have over 100 customers in line easily and both sides of self checkout are closed which both have 15 check stands. Don't make any sense how this store even remains open. Do not waste your time here it's 15 mins shopping 45 mins waiting in line.

The last two times I have shopped there, I had to do self-checkout. Nobody was working at the few check stands they do have. Why can't they hire someone?

Parking lot lighting not on creates a dangerous environment for pedestrian visibility as well as potential crime.

Came here to do a return and it was refused because I didn’t purchase at their store BUT if I had ordered it online they could have returned it. Does that make sense? When I initiated the return it literally showed me this location first.

Very nice and clean store. An associate name Joyce was extremely friendly and concerned about me sending a money card to someone I don't know as down payment for paperworks for a dog. I took her advice and stopped the transaction. Thank you, Joyce. You're the most valuable asset of Walmart!

There are a lot of bad experiences I've had at most walmart locations. However the beaverton market is hands down the best walmart I've ever been to. The workers there are friendly, intelligent and care about their job and customers. The grocery pick up makes my life so much easier. I recommend anyone to go here.

This is my first time visiting this place. It had everything I needed. Thank you to those who worked there

I was able to find everything I intended to buy. Also the produce selection is pretty good. Make sure to look at the expiration date on everything. I haven't experienced many expired items on the shelves or other departments in Walmart but at Safeway this has been an issue.

I stopped in tonight with my 2 kids to grab some cat food and baby snacks. I don't appreciate the older ladies working the self checkout treating me like a criminal. Standing a foot away from me as I scanned my items then telling me what items I had left to scan (including the milk in my hand.) Then they had the audacity to try and stop me on my way out and tell me I didnt scan the diapers below my cart that was clearly printed on my receipt. If you're going to do this job then do it right or get better training. Treating people like this is NOT okay. Mind you, there were many other people checking themselves out and you didn't bother them, so why me? You profiled me and my family. Shame on you.

It's a Walmart Neighborhood Market like any other. The people at the pharmacy are great. They're always helpful. For them, they would get 5-stars.The reason for the 1-star review is my dealings with one of the employees. The overweight older man who works at the front desk has always been rude and condescending when dealing with me. He doesn't even greet you when you approach him. That's not how you treat someone who's spent around $10k or more a year at your store for the past several years. That money might start going elsewhere.

A few days ago (weeks?) Walmart changed their checkout policy. They no longer help you in the self checkout lane when buying items in bulk. Previously, they would do a "quantity" on items (like water). Now, say you get 3 cases, you have to individually scan all 36 items one at a time. There was no checker available, only the self check lanes were open. The person "watching" was not allowed to help. This also happened at another nearby Walmart. I'm not sure if this is a Portland thing or if it's corporate wide. I will not be returning, Walmart has lost a valued customer.

No bags. None at all available. They had a few of the tiny overpriced reusable ones hidden on one carrousel behind a row of employees. I guess people were stealing them? Regardless they are barely big enough for two cartons of milk. If I am going to buy a bag I want it big enough to carry a fair amount of groceries and it should be available when I’m checking out. But they weren’t… I guess it’s nice to see they have employees now though even if they are just standing around policing the self checkout register lines and hiding reusable bags…Walmart has no plastic or paper bags at all any more. It’s a new store policy BUT their stupid computers still make you select how many bags you use so they can try to rip you off via the dictatorial bag tax forced down everyone’s throats. Your votes or opinions as a consumer or citizen are no longer considered by any politician or company any more. Which brings up - who gets that .10 fee that you pay for the bags? Hmmmm kinda like the unredeemed can fees. Somebody is making money off consumers under the guise of “saving the environment”.Walmart probably makes a fortune selling those tiny reusable bags for $1. It’s probably their number one best seller. So they don’t mind doing it! They probably lobbied politicians for the whole thing! The whole premise behind getting rid of plastic bags might be valid if we switched to paper. I disagree because I reused the plastic ones for trash bags or dog poop etc. but hey someone somewhere does something wrong with them so nobody can have them anymore in the state of Oregon. We’ll pretend they don’t make biodegradable plastic which would’ve been a solution. And we’ll also ignore the sanitary considerations of reusing bags carrying eggs meat etc. forget about the cost or waste from people dropping groceries because they didn’t have a bag. Instead of small thin plastic bags most people spend $5 on “reusable” bags that they then have sitting in a pile in their house until they end up throwing THOSE out or losing THOSE instead of the ones that aren’t as bad for the environment. Many considerations they didn’t address but the bottom line: Walmart not offering viable bag options to their customers is inexcusable. I’m not going back.

Just literally spent 20 min trying to connect to anyone that would pick up the phone so I could as a question. I called over 10 times trying each individual dept. and it just rang & rang & NO ONE answered the phone in ANY & ALL of the departments. I tried a few of the depts multiple times and still zip. This included on line order & pick-up orders which thank God I did not have. Horrible customer service. Today is 10/25/23 & I started calling at 8:30pm - I stopped after trying for 20 min to get anyone to answer the phone. Store hours are posted they are open until 11pm but clearly no one works there or can’t even be bothered to at least pick up the phone to say they are super busy & call back another time. I won’t be shopping there.
