Went to the Beaverton store to return an item. There was no one there at customer service was told they were busy in the back and to come back 2 hours later. Asked to talk to a manager and the manager Ruth told the employee she would not talk to me. Horrible service

They have nothing but self checkout lanes now, which is fine because I prefer those, but the self checkout employees hover and are rude! They have an attitude of disdain.They treat me like they think I am stealing or something. I have never understood why, considering I never have! It used to really bother me and I took it personally. Especially since I have always been polite. I thought it was just me, but after reading the reviews it appears they treat lots of people like that. I have been shopping here since they opened, and have bought most of my monthly groceries here. Most of the employees at the checkouts, and customer service, have always been unprofessional and condescending, but it just seems to have gone from bad to worse in the last few years. Now I just ignore the employees as much as possible, do my shopping and get out. I really hate going there.

I used their app. I changed my payment method to a different card. There was an error in their app that it switched the payment method to my default card. I called customer service, I went into the store. Both stated I needed to bring in all items, and some of my items weren't returnable. They did not accept error for their app, and blamed me for picking wrong card. They would not void out the transaction, and run on another card.
I have worked in finance for a lot of years, and even was a cashier at a grocery store. They were always able to void out a transaction, and put it on a separate card. This is the worst experience I've ever had at a grocery store.
I will never shop here again. I will be letting everyone I know who shops here know what happened. I will also be filing a complaint with the better business bureau.
Ive shopped at this store since it has opened. I've spend hundreds of dollars at this store. This is absolutely terrible experience.

They have over 100 customers in line easily and both sides of self checkout are closed which both have 15 check stands. Don't make any sense how this store even remains open. Do not waste your time here it's 15 mins shopping 45 mins waiting in line.

Front employee envharge of self check out was very rude, can’t quite remember his name but it started with an A and he was on his phone looking and then didn’t allow me to go to an available register and it was me and a customer doing his job and sorting out who was going to go next as he only gave a number to which one was available and then said “no” when I asked if we could go. After that happened we put in 15 dollars into the cash machine and we got help from another employee and the same other employee from the self check out comes in and grabs our 5 dollar bill and runs off with it until the other employee explains what the situation is. Never coming back train your employees if they are racist and do not black pepper.
