For those of us who remember the old location on Hwy 99 in Tigard, this store will seem very small. It still carries a fairly wide selection of spices and other Indian foods. I was able to find all the items on my list, about 20 different spices and masala mixtures. The proprietor is the same. Friendly, helpful, and chatty. I was very happy to see she was back in business.

The owner is super sweet and very helpful, even gave us some information on health benefits of some spices. They have hair and hand henna and many spices, all at fair prices. Small, local shop highly recommended.

SO GOOD! Devi Maa is such a wonderful waala. She has all the things, and more if you don’t see what you want she used to have a larger space so she has things stored away elsewhere she can procure on request. This woman is a treasure! If you’re a Hindu or Indian cook looking for hard-to-find supplies, come here and ask. Or if you’re a random white dude who wants some easy to make frozen roti, this is also your spot. Come say hi! JAI MAA ?

Previously, in Tigard for many years and now in Beaverton- near Grocery Outlet on Hall.. Nice selection of Indian spices. Lovely traditional clothing as well. The owner, Devi, is very helpful and sweet. I got some tamarind paste and she asked what I would be using it for- I am new to cooking Indian food- she is a great resource for recipes and cooking tips. She is closed on Tuesday’s.

If you’re looking for Indian spices, this store has them. It’s run by an absolutely delightful lady who is happy to help without being over/bearing. It’s the kind of shop that once you visit, you’ll want to return.

Kirkland turmeric are sold for $20 a bottle- that is 500% marked up. She tried to pass them off as hand-carried merchandise from India until I pointed out they are Kirkland, sold at Costco for $4!!!

This is a great store with a lot of variety. Unfortunately it is closing. They even have clothes. The lady that owns the store was very nice and helpful. Prices were reasonable. I would go back again to find those thing that I would not find in a traditional American store. Sad to see this store closing.

I went to my favorite Indian market today to get cardamon, sumac, raw sesame seeds and other spices I can't find elsewhere. The place is empty. I'm so bummed. The lady was always nice to me, showed me the best deals, answered all my questions. Where do I go now?

My brother came home to tell me this place was closing. For which he was glad. And I am too! Last year he went In there to find curry spices and a rude elderly woman told him to leave! My brother has cerebral palsy so his speech is not so clear when he speaks. He said that she treated him like a criminal and not to come back to the store. What a b@*#^! Looks like Devi won't be coming back instead! #karma#byefelisha

There are 3 things you can count on when coming to this store. 1. The owner (elderly women) will be rude and have a bad attitude with no customer service skills. 2. Most of their groceries will be expired for months. 3. The prices will be higher than any other Indian grocery store in the area. I've been here 3 times and will never return based on the above.
