I am very new to indoor plants. Last summer I got a zz plant from an online company that does self-watering pots. A few months ago some stems and leaves started to turn brown and I wasn’t sure what was wrong.I went to Staghorn to ask for help. The staff there are so friendly and knowledgeable. Dan answered all my questions so patiently and he explained to me that self-watering system isn’t great for zz plant. I decided to bring my zz plant there and Dan did a great job helping repot my zz plant to a nursery pot (they are totally fine that I want to use a pot I bought somewhere else) and get rid of dead parts. The cost for repotting was very reasonable.Thank you for saving my plant! I would definitely go there to get plants in the future.

Beautiful shop to step in on a cold rainy day.Really warm store with a huge selection of indoor plants and nice selection of little gift ideas.Enjoyed walking around looking at everything in the store and finding all the star wars figures.

My favorite local plant shop. It's very organized and clean. They typically have everything you need in stock and have been super helpful when I ask questions. A great place to get a gift for someone or for yourself!

I’m not a huge fan of plants in general myself, but I’ve been in a couple of times to buy plants as gifts, and Staghorn Mercantile has an awesome selection and very knowledgeable staff that I feel I can trust to guide me in the right direction!My elderly father indicated to me that he wanted a “creeping plant” (?) So I made a beeline for Staghorn and a really pleasant fellow named Dan showed me several varieties and explained the level of care needed for each - He even helped me pick out a nice pot when I indicated that I wanted to make a little more “gifty!” I really like knowing exactly where to go when I need to give something meaningful like a plant!

I have dozens of plants and all of my biggest and most beautiful are from Staghorn. Excellent customer service and such a beautiful variety of plants, home decor, and more. I never leave without buying something amazing for my home!

It’s always so nice just to walk around this beautiful plant shop. My girlfriend and I always go in and are greeted by the friendliest employees and are given tips or advice as we walk around. They even pot your plants for you if you want! It’s such a great shop and I am always happy to spend my time there when my girlfriend drags me out.

Such a cute little shop that we have always passed by but never taken the time to visit until the other day. The thing I like the most about this place is their wide variety of plants, as well as a patient and knowledge staff. They not only entertained my five year old's many questions, but also reassured me I would be able to keep our newly purchased prayer plant alive. They also have a selection of dog treats as well- wish I had brought my doggo. This will be a regular stop for us.

This place is so charming and adorable. Everything they sell here is amazing quality and is unique in its own way. Personally the planters were my favorite with their sassy quotes. The people who work here are genuinely pleasant and so helpful. They even help pot the plants you've purchased for $2. The employees there are so careful so there's no fear of damaging the plant roots. The only downside to this place is you'll spend way too much because you want to buy everything.

I absolutely love this place! All their products and plants are high quality, they have a large selection of gifts and the employees are the sweetest people.We recently had to say goodbye to our sweet kitty and popped in to find a plant that best suited our needs. We picked out the silver sword and a pot where the person kindly offered to drill a hole in the bottom for drainage and also pot the plant for us! I wish I could've gotten their name, but it's definitely somewhere we'll be coming back often!

They have a small succulent and cactus area in the front corner window. A bit pricey but I managed to walk out with a new plant for a good price still. Hard to find street parking here.

Such a nice shop with great variety!! Loved the fact that they offer re-potting for your plants and can drill holes in any of their pots they have in store. The owner was very nice and helpful as well. Their prices from plants to pots are some of the best I've seen. Will definitely come back.

The man who helped my sister and I was so helpful. He allowed us space to browse but the moment we needed help he was there to answer our questions! He assisted us in potting the plants and gave us super helpful advice regarding care for our plants! The pots we found for our plants were EXACTLY what we were looking for. Not to mention the assortment of trinkets I’ll be returning for. I’ve gotten earrings from this store as a gift and to this day they are the most complemented things I own!

Fabulous plant shop! All the plants are healthy and thriving and they have so many varieties. Those working are super knowledgeable and can make recommendations based in the lighting conditions in your space and the type if care you are willing to give. I say this because plants do need nurturing and some require more than others. They have lots of succulents and air plants which are very popular these days with people decorating in that stream lined mid century mid style, myself included. What sets the store apart is the variety and styles of the pots and planters. So many cute items! In addition to plants, they have some home decor and gift items, or gifts fir yourself! Decorative throws and pillows, the best coffee table books, scented candles and oils, lots of weaved baskets and wall hangings, macrame and even some clothing. I particularly love all the bamboo and wooden servers, charcuterie boards and cooking utensils. Adding wood to your space immediately adds warmth and interest to your space. Even though I live in Portland, I drive to Beaverton when I need a new plant or a gift or just because I want to see what's new in this charming shop. They just opened a store in Cannon Beach and it's just as fabulous!
