I wish I could give this garbage hole zero stars. I used auto-payment and kept my card on file for the 12 months I used the space. Paid like clockwork. I notified them online that I would be out by the end of the month originally agreed upon. My husband moved everything out as agreed, swept the floor, locked it, and left. THERE IS NEVER ANYONE IN THE OFFICE TO TALK TO. So I called and left a message that we were moved out. We never returned as the security entrance access verified. And the unit is empty.... which means we moved our stuff out on the last day we show up as accessing the secure entrance. Duh.I started getting late payment letters and FINALLY got ahold of the "manager" who is apparently being paid for doing absolutely nothing. She agreed that it was all a big misunderstanding because my husband left the lock on the unit. HOW WOULD HE KNOW NOT TO LOCK IT AND WHO WOULD HE RETURN IT TO?!?? WHO WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE IF SOMEONE ELSE ACCESSED IT WHILE UNLOCKED? She assures me that she will take care of it and I foolishly believe her, to my detrement.So she doesn't take care of it after all, and apparently, I am now in collections with a hefty late fee charge added. I HAD excellent credit, and now it is ruined, and I am furious@@!!@@ I did everything I was supposed to do. Can you sue a company for negligence that adversely impacts such an important part of your life? Shame on this place. I was an excellent customer and deserve better.BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. THERE ARE NO RESPONSIBLE OR COMPETENT ADULTS HANDLING YOUR PRECIOUS POSSESSIONS, YOUR CARD ON FILE, YOUR CREDIT! They must have paid their friends and family for the rave reviews because they are never there and laugh when you mention it. My biggest regret is that I won't be there when karma catches up with them. BIG FAT ZERO!

They are terrible communicators and lock people out of their units for no reason. But don't not pay because they won't let you access it because then they will auction it. I had to pay for a unit for , 2 months with no word on why I couldn't access it despite the numerous calls I made .. then had to pay a fee on top of it all . If I were you I would find a different storage place that doesn't have to buy reviews to look good.

Shout out to the staff at PS on NW Cornell!! Having your stuff in storage sucks, but I am so grateful to Jacob, Charity and Kim for making my time there a little less painful!! You guys were so kind to me and I am grateful for that!

This was our first encounter with Public Storage and found it a very professional and efficient business. We had two people helping us at the site on Cornell Rd. Sascha and Jacob. Both were extremely helpful, courteous and respectful AND pleasant! In the stressful time of moving, this was very much appreciated.

The door to my unit came off track on a Sunday at the end of Kim’s shift. She was kind and caring enough to help me fix it so I didn’t have to worry about my items being open to whoever passed by. Kim went above and beyond and I really appreciated her help.

The company as a whole, is just okay. They do tend to have in their contract some not so great addendums. If you choose to move out early, you don't get any prorated rebate, which is kinda lame. The Location is pretty good, some warmer days seem to affect the facility, having a window facing unit can make it quite warm in there. Storing is clearly at your discretion and what you put in there that might be sensitive to warming could be problematic. Mostly i find it an issue because while being on property in the heat can make it quite uncomfortable, a serious breaking out in a sweat. Almost like doing yard work on a warm day uncomfortable which makes it kinda frustrating while sorting and storing.Also, the price hikes tend to be interesting, but you can alway play the game and rent online another unit and just keep it moving back and forth. Just kinda a time waster. otherwise this place does the job. The company itself could be better.

Very nice clean good customer service. Only one complaint there was no airflow or air conditioning on the 2nd level where my storage unit was and it was a 90 degree day it just made it worse. But other than that it was fine. They had air conditioning on the ground level I just couldn’t believe that they wouldn’t have any kind off airflow for their customers to breathe on the upper levels.

Our stuff was safe for over a year, which is what’s important. What wasn’t fun was searching for an employee for over an hour so we can do the “move out” process. Ended up having to call corporate and leave the key in the drop box.
