This business is permanently closed. Per the sign on their door, they are closed as of 4/16/2021, yet they don't specify this on Google nor do they have an outgoing message on their voicemail. They claim the closure is due to COVID-19; however, they have always been so busy that bookings are at least a month out.

This location is incredibly poorly managed. According to signs posted on their doors, they've permanently closed as of 4/16/2021. However, as a client who has consistently held appoints here (every 3-5 weeks) for over 18 months and didn't cancel my membership when they were shut down because of the pandemic, I wouldn't have expected to learn they were close before I showed up for an appointment. I never received a courtesy call that they were closing. They didn't even update their voicemail. Given that this wasn't the first time the changed hours after I had scheduled an appoint and they didn't communicate that change with me, I shouldn't be surprised. But I'm still very frustrated. And while I am sad that this business had to close and that any business isn't able to survive, I do hope the individuals who owned/operated this location reconsider their customer service approaches before they open another business. If I could rate just the massage therapist I received massage from, I'd happily give that individual 5 stars.

I have tried to follow up on appointments made at Murray-Scholls massage envy location. I have to book out several months to even get an appointment and invariably they call and cancel my appointment the day before with no offer to make another appointment. The staff is rude and extremely not helpful. I spoke to the owner of the franchise and he was worse. I can't believe this place stays in business. I have belonged to massage envy for many years and have never experience such unprofessional behavior. I would strongly recommend going anywhere else for massages. Worst business I have experienced in a long while.

This place abused the fact that my card information was inputted while booking an appointment online. I was charged an entire service fee of $110 for an appointment and service I never even had - I called and canceled within an appropriate timeframe. My card should have never been charged! Now I have to deal with waiting for my money to be refunded.

So my girlfriend called and wanted to do a couples message. So they made the appointment. However a few days before hand they called and cancelled. Said the message therapist was not comfortable doing a couples message. So my girlfriend thought probably because we were gay they didn’t want to. I was like no never. Well low and behold I called from my number pretending to want an appointment for my husband and I. Strange they had an opening and were fine to do it. Such discrimination. We will never waste our money here.

Booked a same day appointment and somehow my My appointment was canceled with no phone call. I showed up to find out this news and all they offered was to book an appointment for another day. I recommend not booking at this location.

If I could give a 0 star rating I would. They assured me I was booking with a deep tissue therapist, but turned out the therapist did not specialize in deep tissue. This has happened more than once. Waste of time and money. On another occasion, they switched therapists on me with no notice when the appt had been scheduled over a month in advance, which meant I had to reschedule. Most recently they canceled my last appt of the membership and no return call after I called right back and left a vm. I now only have a week and a half to use my last two sessions and they don’t have an esthetician, which was not communicated to me when the appt was canceled two weeks ago. Poor service. But what do you expect from a mass service salon. I don’t know if this is indicative of all locations, but the one on Murray Scholls is definitely not a winner in my opinion. I should say, however, that most of the therapists there are nice - they just need to figure out the administrative stuff. The business model is great for people who are busy, but not when things like the above happen multiple times. It just causes frustration and more stress when time is already so limited - which is the opposite experience of what their service should be providing. I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel it’s prudent to share after more than one or two bad experiences.

This place is horrible. 3 out of the 10 appointments I have tried to schedule here have been canceled. They don't notify of the cancellation until within the hour, and not at all in some cases. I showed up for an appointment today, only to be told that it was canceled.

I moved to Beaverton & even though I read the bad reviews I wanted to give them a try myself. Yup, now I see why. They didn't switch it properly & there were no apologies- most unprofessional rude service I have ever experienced. What a shame. Its a perfect location. Luckily there are plenty of other great masaage places to pick from. 1st time I have EVER left ME a negative review. I have loved all the others. Bummer.

I've tried several of the therapists at this location and enjoyed all of my massages. They have some very skilled therapists working here. The front desk is helpful and kind, and the setting serene.

Do not waste your money, this location has gone down hill quickly. They are difficult to schedule with, their receptionists are not empowered to actually help customers and their therapists are mediocre at best. Their attrition is high and massages are cancelled often. I have been a member for years and due to the decline in the quality of their service, I want to end my contract. This has become impossible to get out of because the lack of availability of their therapists and constant cancellations. Recently, the receptionist even shared this location pays their therapists a lower hourly rate than other Massage Envy locations. Another time they cancelled my appointments at the last minute, one receptionist shared sensitive medical information about their esthetician who had a chronic medical condition. This is not only unprofessional, it is not compliant with basic employee rights to privacy regarding medical conditions. If they are going to share personal medical information about their employees, it makes me wonder what they would share about their customers. Go anywhere but here.
