Kuni Collision Center really took care of me and my car. They are BMW certified and have the tools needed to repair my BMW X6. I had been to other repair shop (going through insurance) and they did not have the BMW certified OBD2 reader to properly read the codes (yes, german cars are specific and high maintenance...). The other store also did not know where my car censors are...asking me "newbie" questions stating the censors are only in the back of the car....where I have parking censors at the front and back. The other store even forgot to re-install my license plate after replacing my bumper....Worse part is that the manager at the other store asked me not to leave a review where I had to go back to the store after the repair which will negatively impact their review (this is a national repair store chain....).The manager at Kuni, Isaiah, ensured that my experience is as smooth as possible. His team kept me posted on the repair progress and timeline. They also gave me the repair certificate showing that the repair was done by BMW certified repair store. So, in the future, if I want to sell my car, I can show the certificate to the buyer where the car was repaired to BMW standard. Kuni also deals with the car insurance with ease. I really appreciate the ease with working with Isaiah's team. Isaiah really took care of my car and me which I can rarely say to any dealership or repair shops where one always feels like they are out to get you. Thank you, Isaiah!Service: Auto body & trim repair

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Kuni Collision Center. Dan was completely unprofessional and rude, making me feel like I was inconveniencing them by bringing in my car for repairs. Not only did they take forever to complete the work, but when I finally got my car back, the repairs were shoddy at best. It's clear that they have no attention to detail and just want to rush through the job. I wouldn't recommend Kuni Collision Center to my worst enemy – save yourself the headache and go elsewhere for your car repairs.

It is useless to describe the experience. Oregon Consumer Hotline recommended filing a complaint without delay. KUNI Collision Center uses bate and switch method. Took the money from the underwriter and went mute. No scheduling, no communication, no replies, no calls despite ten days of trying to reach Tuffy and the rest of them. Please, rename the place into Holman Auto Group etc. because it has nothing to do with the real brand name Kuni. Those were the days when things were handled by the local professionals, owners and managers.

BEWARE! While I suspect this company does a fine job of repair vehicles, beware of a plan they have in place to ensure they make thousands even if they don't repair your vehicle.I had my car towed there for an assessment and repair. It took them 3 weeks to finally get to my car and declare they couldn't repair it. I was then sent a bill for thousands of dollars of storage fees because they let my car sit there for weeks.Service: Auto body & trim repair

I drove my optimal functioning 328i to Kuni for a bumper replacement. After being serviced, I had my car towed to my mechanic to repair the electrical damage that "coincidentally" took place. I can't recommend Kuni anymore. It's not the same company it once was since the acquisition.Service: Body & Trim

Brought my car in for an estimate because the State Farm repair shop was on a 6 month wait. Big mistake on my part. They took apart the car and would not honor the State Farm estimate and then charged me $250 to put the car back together. Then today I found out they did not put the car back together correctly so now I have to wait for additional parts. Don't take your car here

My car was repaired at Kuni about 6 years ago, not the best job (as they couldn't find some of the original parts to replace) but it was satisfactory and acceptable at the time.Fast forward to today (early 2023), I find that a taillight is broken. No big deal. I took the car to my local oil change place for the bulb replacement, but they told me that they cannot get to the bulb because the housing is attached with some sort of a bizarre pin. They showed it to me, and indeed it didn't look original and it was not reachable by their tools. I took it to Kuni as they were the ones who did the original job which replaced the relevant parts. Not only they denied they were the ones who didn't attach the housing correctly, they gave me an estimate of over $950 to remove this "broken bolt." They claimed Jiffy Lube must've broken it, when they tried to replace the bulb. That is simply not the case, as I was watching over at the Jiffy Lube technician. No one ever even touched those parts of the car since Kuni worked on them, back when it was repaired in their shop.Turns out it wasn't even a bolt. I removed it myself after some struggle, which turned out to be some sort of a plastic pin. And I can't re-attach it securely, because there is no thread in the backing plate to even hold a bolt. I suppose that's why they must've put this plastic pin in the first place. They messed up the housing and rigged it to attach in this way, assuming I wouldn't notice. And indeed I didn't, till the taillight became an issue. So, even though the original fixes to the car were good, they never disclosed to me about the "plastic" pin, nor they owned their mistake once it became apparent. I'm more disappointed in them doing a botched job at first and hiding it than anything else. If they told me it was attached with a plastic pin, I would've known how to deal with this properly and not wasted so much time on it. Needless to say, I won't be going back to Kuni.I should add that the "estimate" person (Mr. Kim) I worked with was actually nice. He even helped me locate the paperwork from when the car was fixed. But I'm guessing their company policy is to ask for high prices (more than $950) for even something like this, which they should've acknowledged as their mistake and they should've taken care of it. Perhaps they were just trying to make me go away, and in that, they were quite successful. Perhaps far better successful in driving me away than they anticipated, but alas they valued their own "time" than mine. A mistake in my opinion.

After an unfortunate dust up with an active rockslide in eastern Oregon on a dark, rainy night in October 2022, I was worried my BMWX5 would never be the same. My insurance company did everything in its power to ensure it was so, but thanks to Isaiah and Kuni Collision's herculean efforts, my vehicle was fully restored and the attention to detail cannot be overstated; every gouge caused by the rocks and debris erased and the door seal repaired to nearly eliminate road noise once again. Kuni's promise to repair using only OEM parts/paint is not to be undervalued. Isaiah worked with my insurance to ensure the estimates would be covered fully, following up with the adjuster on items she mis-read/misprocessed in the initial response. My husband and I both have always trusted Kuni Collision with our minor repairs, but having gone through this grueling insurance process (it took over two months to get my vehicle back to Portland so that I could get the body work started) cemented my resolve to always chose Kuni Collision when the need arises. Pricing is fair, quality is superb, repairs are timely, and the service is unmatched.Services: Auto body & trim repair

Kuni Collision has an excellent staff of professionals who are dedicated to providing the best repair service for your car and administering the process with your insurance carrier. My insurance company does not have a written agreement with Kuni, so getting the excellent work done by Kuni covered by my insurance company was a daily arm wrestling match for them. Won and Marcee worked endlessly to ensure all the services were eventually covered. The result was worth the wait - All the proper parts were used, the work was excellent, and I feel extremely comfortable about the safety of my car.Services: Painting

Won and his team is amazing! My family and I first heard about Kuni Collision from the Lexus dealership going in knowing that they only use factory parts. We have been loyal customers for over 10 years. In the past three months I have been in two accidents and Won recognize me right away. Him and his team will take the time to make sure that everything gets completed to mine/factory standards. A couple of years ago I got hit in the parking lot and one of my headlight needed to be replaced. And by the time that I needed to pick up my car the bulbs on the other side started flickering and went out. Even though they we super busting he had me wait and replaced it for me. Him and his team checked my car twice before letting me off their lot. A two months ago I ran over a big pothole and popped my tires and I took my car to a tire shop replacing the wheel and had it aligned. But my car was still making a scratchy noise. When I brought the car in I told them that I already had the tire replaced and alignments done. They completed the body work, and I was super satisfied. While driving home I realized that the car was still making that scratchy noise, and they had me bring the car in to check and realized they took the car apart and saw mechanical issue. Because I told them and the insurance company that I had alignments done I caused a huge confusion. But him and his team was super understanding and contacted the insurance company and negotiated everything with the insurance company and took care of everything for me. Thank you so much for all you do Kuni collision staffs for everything that you do!Services: Tires
