Okay selection. For some reason the whole store smells like a foot.

It was fine... But so very very not busy... I'm used to bunches of customers at locations before.

For a general craft store, Joann's has a lot of variety. There is something for every interest, from beginner to expert and for the youngest crafter, all the way up through the mature. There really isn't anything you cannot find. They run sales often, offer coupons and discounts, and Joann's gives a heavy nod to sewing, quilting, knitting and crocheting. You can order on line or in their app, pick your order up curbside, or you can have it shipped directly to you at home. Plus there are tons of ideas for different projects you can try out.

Beautiful things. And useful and practical. And their prices are reasonable. And the service is good.

Like many other reviews here.... Felt like we got horrible service from two older ladies. After standing around the store for about 10 trying to find someone to help us, we went to an older lady at the fabric ( no one else was in line). Asked her if there's someone that can help us find a product. She said in an almost yelling tone "when I'm done helping her" while gesturing to a lady in one of the isle. We wait around some more, then saw another employee walking around alone. Ask her the same question with almost the exact same tone and rudeness. Needless to say, We decided to leave the store shortly after. As for the product we were looking for, i checked online and saw that it was not available at the Beaverton location but was everywhere else. So selection here seems pretty limited.

I have never been to a more unhelpful, unkept, DISASTER of a store. Dollar trees look better. This location is empty, and staff didnt offer to help me find anything. likely because they dont know where anything is in that mess.

Joann corporate should know that they're paying their employees to do nothing but lie and be rude to customers. I've never been so blatantly lied to and treated poorly in a store before. I get it, I've worked in retail too but I would never be able to keep my job if I acted the way these employees do. Every single one I've interacted with has been bad! Especially lily. Lily and another older employee just blatantly lied about not having a product just so they didn't have to help me look through the mess they call a store. Then before walking out the door after spending $40 on something else I found the exact products and they wouldn't return the fabric I had just bought instead saying that it had been cut. Yes, you cut it! The next day I came back for something else and someone at the cash register wouldn't match their online price for an item saying it isn't the same item even though it was exactly the same and when I asked to get the one on sale they said "if you can find it." Then I said what if I order it online to pick up since the website says you have plenty of it in stock and she said "I'll just cancel it." Never returning to this store ever again and I recommend you don't waste your time either. Just order online or go to a different store. Trust me.

Rude, unhelpful, immature staff. It's no wonder there is such high staff turnover at this location. Would strongly recommend going to Michael's or even Fred's over this store.

My friend is trying to get me into crochet and took me to this JOANN store to buy some yarn to work on projects together. This store appeared a little bit smaller than other JOANNs I have been inside, and not as well organized, though it does still have a lot to offer for arts and crafts supplies. They didn't have the size of crochet hook that we were looking for (12) and they were lacking in some types of yarn as well. But they do have a lot to choose from regardless, pretty convenient place.

NEVER use their online ordering. Corporate verified they canceled 4/5 of my orders at store level. Which the manager lied about. I called prior to placing the order to make sure they were all in stock. I needed these items for a project for a special needs child which I explained on the call regarding inventory. They said no problem they can do it. So on their website they offered 20% off on pick up orders. They cancel orders & make people come in and NOT get their discounts because it’s “technically” a store purchase at that point. Meanwhile it takes 7-10 days to get your money back. Orders totaled over $125. No discount was even offered for the obvious store issue. I try to shop local for local jobs as Joann’s has closed a lot of stores. They need to stop ripping off their customers before Joanna becomes a company of the past. Amazon it is, this was the final straw. I try really hard not to shop on Amazon but companies like this just hand them their business.

Got stalked around the store by an associate with Foundation so mismatched to her tan, it made me uncomfortable to look at because I could not keep the question, "ma'am. Are you in black face?" off of my mind only to be Asked by the cashier if I was going to pay for the stained and torn reusable shopping bag I came in the store with while she stood right behind me staring both of us down.Shout out to the cashier for looking past me over my shoulder while she repeated my government name out loud.Super duper appropriate.Perhaps I wouldn't have to participate in questionable behaviors like having to check Multiple sections of the store multiple times such before finally, settling on Eco felt if the store was stocked and organized. I just needed a bit of white polyester to add pockets to an Alice in Wonderland costume and the dye for said costume.I was also trying to find a pre-made bow but I guess they don't sell those at craft stores anymore. No time for that when you're looking for an appropriate punching bag and touching up cake face I guess. Spray tan is way to go btw bc at least the results are consistent and you don't look so uncanny when you wear make up you bought with a very different tan.Applying more will not detract that it doesn't match, but it will make people question if you're a Karen for Halloween or like that on purpose like all the time.If you have time to tail paying customers around the store the weekend before Halloween, you're not doing your job.

I asked kindly for plastic mesh canvas. The lady behind the fabric counter plainly told me they do not have it. I then found it. Then I found my fabric and waited for five minutes in front of the same lady. There was no other customer ahead of me. She did not greet or explain she will be right with me. When she finally said ok, I proceed and also told her I found the fabric canvas and pointed to her where it was. She told me she did not understand me and thought I wanted a mesh for grill (a mesh for grill in a craft store?) During the entire time, she pulled an “I don’t care” face. It seems this lady does not want to work there…. So sad for the store

If only there was a system for getting numbers and knowing who's next in line to get cut fabric. Oh wait. There IS a system! There's paper with numbers on it and a big counter, mounted on the ceiling. But the employees NEVER USE THIS WONDERFUL ADVANCEMENT IN TECHNOLOGY.

Worst experience ever. Got a curbside pick up for a piece of wood plaque. Asked for the last name and threw it in the car without saying anything else. Unnecessary rude. It was awful.
