It’s never great to need a hotel at 8pm but here I found myself. I expected more from a Hilton but our room was pretty filthy and the bathroom full of black mold. We arrived late 10:30 pm but front desk guy wasn’t the friendliest and couldn’t be bothered to turn off his movie while he ran my card and gave me my room key.

I have stayed here the last 4 times I’ve visited Oregon and it just gets better every time. I had an issue with the restroom when I first checked in, they moved me to a new room quickly. I was also teaching a class to 10 people on on one over 2 days and they allowed me to teach in the lobby and even made sure I had a quiet place to see my clients. Everyone at the desk over my 5 day stay was helpful and friendly. I love staying here and will be back next month.

The employees here are amazing. They are always friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and stocked with everything you would expect. Fitness center was clean and had everything you’d expected and more.There was a few issues with some of the other guest but the front desk was all over it and did everything they could to make our experience as good as possible. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Wish they had a hot tub but other than that this place is perfect.

As a frequent traveler, accommodations, service and staff are a top priority for both business and leisure. The staff were always on top of each need, question and solution to everything I expected.I could not have had a more enjoyable experience.

Let me revise the narrative to accurately reflect that you were not the guest but rather a witness to these unfortunate events as your friend stayed at the hotel.During my friend's stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, a disturbing incident unfolded that warrants attention. An individual, not registered as a guest, was falsely accused of theft by an employee who, perplexingly, lacked any identifiable uniform and instead wore a colorful coat and a beanie.The accused person, who later admitted to grabbing a coffee from the hotel premises, even offered to pay for it. Despite this reasonable explanation and the individual's willingness to resolve the situation amicably, the unjust accusation persisted. The poor guy, visibly upset and trembling, found himself unfairly caught in a situation that was both embarrassing and unnecessary.This incident not only highlighted the lack of proper identification for hotel staff but also showcased a concerning lack of discretion and understanding on their part. Discovering that the accused individual was not a guest but had merely taken a cup of coffee further emphasized the absurdity of the situation.In summary, the Hilton Garden Inn's failure to handle such a minor and easily resolvable situation appropriately speaks volumes about the overall lack of professionalism and empathy exhibited by the staff. Prospective guests should be aware that, in addition to the myriad other issues, the hotel's staff may subject individuals to unjust accusations without proper investigation or consideration. It's disheartening to see such incidents unfold in a place that should prioritize the safety and well-being of its guests.

This hotel is a good one. Only thing they need to do to make it great is the carpeting. It's outdated and stained. My rooms carpeting was stained pretty bad. If that doesn't bother you, you'll love it. Great location. Close to a few eateries and a gas station. 24 hour gym is at walking distance. All good things.

The lady upon check in was rude when I asked for a key and didn't want to use my dead phone as one. Then asked to see my ID when I asked for my water. Odd way to treat a HH member. On a good note, the room was really clean! Downfall was the rock hard bed.Rooms: Very clean

Well it was Ok until the car got all scratched up by a large SUV's door. Terrible scratches that will need real professional repair. We parked in a better protected spot after we found the gouges.

We checked in on a Wednesday afternoon. The woman at the front desk discovered I had 2 reservations for that evening. We clarified I only wanted/booked one. She immediately went to work canceling one, with no charges added! We went directly to our room and were pleasantly surprised!! Clean, modern, inviting and quiet. Very close to the freeway, but very quiet! The room was light, bright, uncluttered, yet containing everything necessary and requested!The entrance to parking is a little off the beaten track however, it's attractively landscaped with lots of trees and flowering plants. A nice touch for the metro location.We were very pleased with the accommodations. We will definitely return!Rooms: Very nice! Light, bright, modern, uncluttered.

This hotel was a nightmare to deal with. We get there and the woman checking us in ishaving system issues. She made a joke about how we know a lot about her. She was on the phone verifying her first pet, favorite teacher etc. There was two other people standing around and neither offered to check us in… it was late and we were tired. Once checked in we were told we were on the 4th floor and the elevator was broken. Not a single worker out of three offered to help carry our luggage… We get to the room and it smells like cigarette smoke and something loosely sprayed to cover it up. I called and let the front desk know she offered to move us but it was so late and they weren’t going to help move the bags so I said no thanks. She offered to make a note of it. Neither of us smoke so we were gagging all night. We woke up and the elevators were still down! We are on our honeymoon and have stayed at only Hilton Tru, Hampton etc. This experience was by far the worse! All the rest were great except one other who did actually try to make our stay right. This location needs to do better-Silver member who has spent over a grand in one week on Hilton.Update- The reply was a generic and empty apology. It does not hold to the standards of Hilton promising to do whatever it takes to make it right. What a shame and with that, we will never return and hope others will find better accommodations with friendlier employees who offer to help pregnant, old and disabled people in the future.

Very clean hotel with a welcoming staff. They made you feel important, that you were not just a number. We used Uber to get around in Portland. There was plenty of clean, pleasant outside waiting area for us to stand, and drivers had no problem finding us.The breakfast was hot, fresh, and served with a smile. The prices very reasonable. Our dinner, again reasonably priced, was tasty. Our 4th floor room was spacious with a lovely view of trees. Overall an excellent stay, we will return.

We got a raw deal this weekend. Check in late and we requested for 2 queen beds and got a 1 king bed. Found out later, the elevators are broken, and the swimming pool and hot tub are closed. They say breakfast buffet but was told a bunch of people is part of the buffet so 5 minutes in the beginning buffet, everything was mostly gone.

Awful customer service. Will not issue refunds. Find somewhere else to book. Booked to be near the hospital and the hospital stay went differently than expected. The stress of being out the money when dealing with medical issues is not needed.

The front desk had nice staff and the room was very nice. However... The beds and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable (springy bed and paper-thin pillows) and the blankets were literally hard, presumably from using the wrong cleaning supplies. So the room was comfortable but sleeping was difficult. The shower pressure was good though and I enjoyed the VERY soft water. Very few amenities for a Hilton property though.

I am in Oregon more than I am even at home due to work and I really enjoy staying at this location. This isn't the nicest hotel in the area, but they have great rates, clean rooms, are close to things you need, AND my experience with the staff has been great. Jade at the front desk quite literally makes the experience perfect even if things are not perfect. So friendly and engaged. I never feel like I am inconveniencing her. Ellinita is super sweet as well. Every time I have seen her she is trying to help someone or making sure that the hotel is super clean. I choose to stay here every week I am here because of them. They make being away from home and my dogs not feel as stressful. Thank you for all you two do!
