Scam of a place. Reserved SUV, got there at time of reservation and they said they gave it away. Pushed a low clearance sedan on us instead. Made the mistake of prepaying so we couldn’t cancel or get refund. Asked for explanation of phone charging and how to close the sunroof. Sales rep didn’t know and rudely told us to look it up or just straight up
lied to us. We saw the car usb c slot for cables, asked if they could provide a usb-c to usb-c cable, sales rep said there’s wireless charging (there is not) and walked away.
Had to look up videos to manage the features. Additionally, they don’t give you a full tank of gas, not even 3/4 full.

I booked a car the day before my trip with my family. They called me less than an hour before the pick up time and telling me that they don't have a car to give me because they are over booked. What kind a service is that!!They should know what's there inventory!! It's very inconvenient! Never renting a car to this place again!!

Good place to rent a car from. With the gold club membership I was in and out in 5 minutes. Only thing preventing a 5-star rating is that all parking spots in front were cordoned off necessitating that my ride had to park in an adjacent dirt lot.

We showed up for our reservation on time at 17:00 however their doors were already locked, the finally let my brother in law into the store but then denied his reservation because he didn’t have his passport with him. I guess an international drivers license isn’t official enough for this company. Hertz is showing the reason more drivers are switching to Turo.

I have called them for two days. It took 3 tries from my side the first day before just for them to tell me “Sorry we missed your rental delivery request by an hour at 10am, so we’ll deliver it tomorrow.” I’m calling to confirm today if the delivery is done as I have not received any email. I have now tried calling 9 times and they still have not answered. And their phone system automatically hangs up if THEY do not answer. At this point I should be considered an employee by how much time I am on their phone line. Terrible service.

Pretty sure this place is a front. I reserved a car, took an Uber there to pick it up and was told they have no cars. They said the online reservation system lets you reserve a car if there is one "anywhere in the region". So I asked if any of the other locations have cars and was told I can call around and ask. So rude and dismissive and completely unwilling to help. This is why it's pretty evident it is a front.
I took my business to Enterprise and had a five star experience.

My experiences here have been rough. My last rental I drove the car home and that’s it. Next morning tire was low and i found a nail in sidewall. Hertz refused to respond to my emails. They never did a safety check and tesla records a log of low pressure warnings etc. Additionally they will just randomly charge you and refuse to explain. Today I was hit with a random $67. I had a car for several months and they didn’t renew the registration. So I was forced to come in and swap out. They charged me an extra day just because I couldn’t come in on a holiday even though I came first thing next morning. Then they charged me an additional $179 for whatever and couldn’t explain it. Finally, They send me my final week bill. $279 tesla rebill charges when I barely charge $100 every week. They refuse to breakdown your tesla charges. Just make up numbers and ignore your emails. do not get a tesla or any electric vehicle because you may be scammed! Will be reaching out to oregon department of regulation and finance and better business bureau.Enough is Enough.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE IT IS THE WORST PLACE TO RENT A CAR, THE STAFF IS UNCOORDINATED, THEY DON'T KNOW ANYTHING THEY HAVE 2 PEOPLE AT THE DESKS WHEN THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE IN THE LINE AND THEY DO NOTHING TO HELP, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM, IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT RENT A CAR THIS SITE IS NOT THE APPROPRIATE SINCE YOU WILL WAIT TOO LONG AND YOU WILL NOT GET THE BEST EXPERIENCE

We rented a vehicle at your location and it was the managers special. We were informed by the manager that the only car they had available on the lot was an electric vehicle. We informed him that we needed to drive 285 miles to Ashland Oregon. He told us this car would charge to 222 miles and that we would only have to stop once to charge. We were given the vehicle at 50% charge so we took it and charged it before we left which gave us 171 miles. This got us to Eugene OR where we spent 1.5 hours to charge. We then had to stop in Roseburg because there were very little options to charge between Roseburg and Ashland. We drove around Roseburg looking for a charger that was universal and found that several of the fast charges were broken or unavailable. We stayed in Roseburg for 2.5 hours and made it to Medford before we had to stop again. A 4 hour trip leaving Beaverton at 10:30 am got us into Ashland OR at midnight. We missed our meeting and had to make arrangements to get into our rental place later than expected. Now we are headed back and left at 9:30 am and have had to charge 3 times just to get to Beaverton. We were not told how long it would take to charge the vehicle and found out that the vehicle only charges 80% so we would never get it to 222. I was unable to contact anyone at the branch and the corporate customer service number would not allow us to speak to a real person. I can not speak of other Hertz rentals however, this branch just wanted to get this car off their lot and the manager did not care that we were not comfortable in an electric car going the distance we were going yet he assured us that we would be fine. This is unacceptable and this car should never have been an option for longer distant travel. I have written corporate regarding this and hope that the manager makes this right. Do not rent an electric car unless you are city driving and do not trust what the branch tells you about miles. This is not accurate information.
