“The staff here is always super sweet - The last time I visited, the person at the register overheard my friend and I talking about Quagsire. They asked if we were fans and went to the back to bring out a Quagsire plush that wasn’t on display yet. “Love this little place inside Cargo! There always seems to be something new in stock; it makes it hard not to buy at least one new item everytime I pop in. They have the best selection of washi tapes from Japan too...I've already lost count of the number of tapes I've gotten here. My latest purchases also include some adorable stationery, rubber stamps, and a Russian vintage pin. If you appreciate cute, delightful, interesting knickknacks you're bound to find some treasures here.”

“Such a cute store with cat-themed everything! I always stop by to get gifts for my creature and cat loving friends.They have cat-themed artwork, decor, cat spoons, plant holders, oven mitts, toys, books, stickers and everything else in between. And the small store looks like a fantasy land when you walk in.”

“Stopped by here on Westend Wednesday, however I have run past this store numerous times (it just isn't open at 6a morning). I even won a neat print by participation in the spin wheelie activity! Super friendly team. Lots of neat giftable things for the holidays ranging from candles, prints, magnets, etc. Def worth checking out!”

It adds a professionalism to the selling of oddities that makes it possible for everyday people to appreciate the interesting collections they have. Their jewelry selection is my favorite. Not cheap though, it will have to be a forever prized piece if you get jewelry from here. Also carnivorous plants!”

“I've been to this shop several times and have enjoyed myself each time. Yesterday I bought a perfume and it didn't smell the same when I initially put it on today. I called the shop and asked about this, whoever answered explained to me how perfume works and the proper way to wear it, that it takes a while for my skin to warm it up and thus diffuse the scent. Sure enough 15 minutes after hanging up the phone, I smelled that dreamy aroma I had desired. Thank you!”

“I’m loving this shop! Beautifully adorned and stocked with plants, books, oracle/tarot decks, handcrafted goodies, jewelry, locally-made, and so much more. I enjoyed meeting and talking with the owner, she clearly loves her shop so much, she clearly pours her soul into finding the best stuff.I went with a friend to the new moon event they had in the event space connected to the storefront. There were fabulous vendors, including a table where you could create your own manifestation jar! Yummy food and the tarot reader was incredible! Can’t wait to go back next month!Highly recommend!”

“I got the lavender syrup, I was so excited to try it that I pulled over halfway home and put it in my coffee and OMG it's so good. I'm excited to try it on other things but you MUST try it in coffee! Plus they gave me a little sample of some fragrance oil that smells amazing. I'll definitely be ordering more syrup in the future and fragrance oil”
“Like Nobody's Business is a great and fascinating shop filled with various handmade art pieces. A wide variety of beautiful pieces, made with great care, provide great décor for your house. Customer service was great. The moment you walk in, the employee, who is really passionate about what he does, shares his knowledge about the art pieces. I recommend checking it out if you want locally made art.”
“IMMEDIATE disclosure. If anyone would like to buy me cute gifts or cards, this place is loaded with them. I've followed Crafty Wonderland on Instagram since they opened. And yet I've never been. Until today. I probably saved quite a bit of money by doing that too!! The items they sell are made by small local artists and businesses, so they're not cheap. They're worth buying and supporting our local community. Service was as great as everything else was. We had a good laugh as we were checking out. I LOVE this place and definitely will return.”

The store is well-organized and has a great selection of clothing and accessories for men, women, and children. The staff was friendly and helpful and I was able to find everything I needed quickly and easily. The prices were also very reasonable and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the items that I purchased. “Came here on purpose and was not disappointed. The corner of the store is full of jackets, sweaters, hats made by them. The rest of the store features items made by local manufacturers. All items are clearly of very high quality. Great place to shop”
“The entrance fee is $21.95 per adult with discounts if you're a student or senior with a valid ID. They also offer a yearly membership if you expect to come often. There is dedicated pay to park spaces as well as a free Washington park shuttle bus available to get there. I was expecting a little more historical Japanese information, but there wasn't much. There were no bonzai trees as it may have been too cold. (We came here January 2024) There was a little pond of some koi fish, but I expected a lot more. The water was also pretty murky. I think it would've been nicer if we came during cherry blossom season. Overall a nice garden if you're looking for something to do in the area, but go on a nice clear day.”
“I called the store (I live in Boston) to request an Ocean glassybaby (middle) similar to one a friend recently bought at the store. One with “layers” of translucent and opaque. They have wonderful customer service, were very patient, and I am Thrilled with the Ocean I received in the mail. Can’t wait to visit your store in person some day. ?”
