I've shopped here for years. They usually only have one cashier. They hired an elderly woman who seems to have some mental issues. Last time I shopped here after I had paid, I saw her spend a good 40seconds digging deep for ear wax. Nedless to say, I didn't want a receipt and even tossed my few purchases. This person is too mentally handicapped to be working with the public. Not shopping here anymore.

June 2024 by Say Says
Older guy gray long hair in ponytail comes off as rude. He made a comment to my 70 year old mom about her giving him a “look”when he said her card was declined. But she was having difficulty with the machine. I had to step in and say that there needs to be better training for cashiers on patience towards customers. She doesn’t have good eye sight and is still getting use to technology. He did start helping and made a comment about the machines too but I can’t imagine if I didn’t intervene.

Just had the worst experience here ever. I couldn’t tell if one of the register lights were on (I have bad eyes) so I asked the older man working if he’s open. He ignored me. So I asked again. He ignored me. So I asked one more time. He looked at me and said “I only answer pertinent questions.” I was shocked. I said “Just trying to be polite” and he said “that’s not pertinent.” Why are people so rude? A simple yes would have been much appreciated.

This is probably the best Dollar Tree. The selection here is so much better than the Greenway Town Center one. The service is also better. But still, don't expect too much from Dollar and a Quarter Tree, because the quality of the items is definitely not that great.

Horrible service I am handicap and they made me stand in line for 15 mins before calling another person over and then didn't ask me to come to the other line and a bunch of people cut me. Every time I come to this place you stand in line forever!

Parking is a bit small. Aisles are very clean and organized. As with all of these locations cashiers are hard to find so expect a bit of a line. Still trying to understand why they still use the name dollar store when clearly their prices are over a dollar. However they get you in and out and the cashiers are patient and have great customer service.

The store and the staff are great...however, the "customers" leave a lot to be desired. While I was waiting in line to pay, a man and a woman decided to take several pool noodles and have a "sword" fight with each other while blocking people from entering or leaving the store...all the while laughing hysterically at themselves loudly. As that was ending another man and woman who had purchased several bags of items, decided they were going to take the carts out of the store instead of using the handles on the bags to carry them out like normal people. Due to theft or abuse the store has had to attach 10 ft poles on their carts so that they cannot go thru the door. Well, this brainiac decided he would just slam the cart and the pole against the doorframe, all the while complaining about how annoying it was to him, and how it inconvenienced him.Seriously...why are some people such morons and so abusive to other people and other peoples belongings? ???

Very understaffed at this location. When walking into the store in the evening there was products all over the floors. Kids were also running around unattended knocking stuff of shelves. When checking out the line had 15+ people waiting to check out. There was only one register open. It's better to go early in the mornings I found. Great prices on boxed candy for movies, cleaners and gift bags.

Set the Wayback machine Mr Peabody! This place felt like an A&P circa 1950. Very retro. Which is to say that this store hasn't been updated since dinosaurs roamed the earth. Cheap stuff sold for cheap. I don't know that I'd go near the food items but I was there to buy a few plastic containers to organize things in my garage. I'm not going to live long enough to warrant paying for high quality, uber-expensive Rubbermaid containers and since the divorce I have had no access to Tupperware so..... The place is huge and was not crowded but I was surprised to see as many customers (or browsers) as I did. One checker. A lady who was at least my age who clearly wished she was any place but there. It must be a dismal place to work. Everything about the venue is drab. Not a complaint at all. It is what it is and Dollar Tree says it all..... although there isn't a lot on the shelves that only costs a buck anymore. The building is in a high rent area of Cedar Hills so I suspect Dollar Tree won't be at this location much longer. The lease on such a massive floor plan must be incredibly high. Plus, Amazon lives in the cheap stuff cheap space so they must be cutting into the sales here. I like this place. So sue me. One of the last of it's kind.
