Davis does a great job on my taxes every year for many years. The returns are neatly organized with simple instructions. He e-files whenever possible. The staff in his office are always very helpful and pleasant.

Very rude and unprofessional. Had an appointment but I sat in his waiting area while he was on the phone for an extended period of time then continued to wait after he was off the phone, I had to impose myself to be helped, 20 minutes after our appointment was supposed to start. It took literally 30 seconds of conversation to realize this man is very self-serving and unprofessional. He would be wise to understand that his client's time is just as valuable as his and not to waste it.

Davis completed our taxes very promptly even though we were delinquent in providing him our information. Davis is extremely knowledgeable about tax planning. Being a financial professional for 20 years myself, I had always done my own taxes and now wish I had hired him years ago. He is highly competent and stands out amongst other tax preparers and CPA's which provide services to my clients. I often find errors or missed opportunities in my client's taxes and tax planning from other tax professionals. Every year clients make mistakes of omission or poor planning and by the time I discover it, it is often too late to correct. I recommend working with a skilled CPA and Davis R Stanger certainly is that. He provided the returns for a school board for which I was the treasurer for a couple years with excellence as well. Additionally, I have referred clients to him over the years and each has had a positive experience and been impressed with his professional acumen.
