If you've ever had the person named Ayman help you in the pharmacy, you are very fortunate. This Costco employee is always helpful, smile on his face really great employee. Costco is lucky to have him.

There's usually a line and the staff at the warehouse door can sometimes be rude to folks without memberships just coming in to pick up prescriptions, but the pharmacy staff are usually helpful and on top of things. I appreciate being able to get a text message when my prescriptions are ready, and the CostCo member discount is sometimes better than GoodRx - worth asking about if you're picking things up out of pocket regularly.

Boomers and Karen's work here. Whose working hard? Not the boomers, it's all the younger staff working their butts off while the boomers mess around like it's highschool all over again for them. Karen's about everything here with bad attitudes. I'm always perplexed as to how they have so many boomers standing around doing absolutely nothing but goofing off with each other. It's as if some of the employees are just waiting to pick on someone. They must have been bullied in high school, and now it's their turn.

Truth be told, I don't shop at Costco often. I'm single and don't need to buy in bulk, so it goes to waste. But, if a friend is going and is willing to split some of the items, I'm there! Or when I need to buy in bulk for the holidays. Today was one of those days. To share, we bought 3 packs of the Dawn Powerwash and the Portland Ketchup. We also spit a package of grapes, some baby greens, and frozen chicken breasts. For myself, I picked up a case of the large Arrowroot water bottles, the 24 oz size (700 ml), which are the best and hard to find. The Sanders dark chocolate covered caramels were on sale and I couldn't resist buying the large container for $7.99. A tiny bag at a grocery store is $5. Even at the regular price of $11.39, it's a bargain. With the holidays coming, I like to have these on hand for something sweet after a meal or with wine & charcuterie.Speaking about charcuterie, I couldn't resist a large package of cured meats from Columbia. There were 9 types of meat, each sliced and vacuum sealed separately, so I can serve them at multiple functions over the next two months. The Christmas ships sail right in front of my condo so I do a lot of entertaining in December. The Boursin cheese comes in a 3 pack and is on sale for $7.99 right now, and typically $6.99 for just one at a grocery store. Two 3-Packs went into the cart! Plus a three pack of La Panzanella rosemary crackers for $7.99 vs store one $5.99 for one. It's an elegant cracker, tastes good and looks pretty With its long, rectangular shape. To round out items for the charcuterie boards, I picked up a few other cheeses like manchango and smoked Gouda, plus a bag of dried mango. Can't leave Costco without my absolute favorite Kirkland item, cashews! I grabbed two bags. I'm feeling so relieved that I have all the items I need for the several Christmas Ship parties I will be hosting and it's only Nov 6th! Plus some extra for impromptu gatherings. Forgot to pick up a roasted chicken! Dang. I love having it sliced with a salad the first night. Then in fajitas, a chicken Caesar, chicken enchiladas and chicken Waldorf salad for the rest of the week. Next time!Parking lot is always insane. Customer service is fine, the checkout lines move fast, the handlers watching and opening new lanes, requesting additional help when needed.

TIRE SHOP WARNING!!! I bought new tires from the Jenkins location drove away after spending over $500. Hopped onto the freeway when I noticed the extreme wobbly loud sound and the car didn't feel safe or stable. I went back to discover they had not balanced all of the tires and the air pressure was at 40. When I called they did not take accountability for this, so I had to go to a different location (another separate 2 hour wait) to get the tire rebalancing and air pressure correction. I spent the whole day at costco. Disappointing!! I will not use the Jenkins location again for any auto work.

I love Costco! Prices cannot be beat and the quality of products is outstanding. And of course the food court is always a must.

So over the years I have been privy to a warehouse membership. When I lived in Knoxville Tennessee, my family had a Sam's Club membership. When I moved to Oregon, we had been splitting a membership with my sister in law. The only downside was that I was never able to shop there seeing as I didn't have a card/couldn't pass as a girl. Today that was resolved. My wife made the executive decision to get the family our own membership, and I am now (officially) a proud card carrying Executive Costco member. The main perk is going to be the gas. I was using UPSIDE...it is an interesting concept, but driving out of the way to save a little bit doesn't make sense. This way I will be close no matter where I am.Today i was tasked to get a few things. Sadly I forgot the salami...there was so much to distract me lol. I did get a couple leisure suits (pajamas), pistachios, sparkling waters and a rotisserie chicken. You know, just the basics. I am sure I will be maklng many trips in the near future.

?No consults with pharmacist? Warning labels are barely visible. (I have 20/20 vision)I don’t like to have to write this kind of review. I have no problem with my Costco store. I have no problem with the pharmacy but today’s experience was not OK with me.I was helped by pharmacy tech and everything was great and he asked me if I had taken the medication before and I said no. So he unsealed the bag and called over the pharmacist. Here’s where it gets really bad. The pharmacist-on-duty(Joselyn-pharmacist intern) looked at the pill bottle and without looking at the actual medication, says “you take with breakfast, it says right there “.This is not ok for several reasons.1. It’s her job. It is her job to dispense medication responsibly, to know what medication is being dispensed and to have a quick consult if needed, however brief. Because this was the medication that is specifically designed to continuously lower blood sugar throughout the day, a consult should have been provided. Extremely low Blood sugar can be fatal. It can put a person into a coma. It can debilitate a person so suddenly that they can’t get help. She did not even look at the medication. I guarantee she could not tell you the name of the medication that she dispensed to me, or my name, or anything at all, other than glancing at the words “take with breakfast”.2. The pharmacy tech, Alex, was doing his job by asking her to come and release the new medication, because it’s the law. Even I know that. He could have easily opened the bag and told me that it said to take it at breakfast, exactly what the pharmacist did. But he didn’t. He follow protocol. He called her over so that she could dispense and consult for a new medication. Instead of having a consult, she acted as if she was being bothered as if she was on her way to do something very important and this consult was not her job. She was in a hurry to exit the pharmacy area. And she did.As I was heading for the main exit (45 seconds later) I saw her, the pharmacist intern standing in the front talking with some other employees in front of the check out lines.I was so disappointed in the lack of professionalism. It is extremely risky for not only the patient, but for Costco, to havea pharmacist that is so nonchalant about her duties.Because I did not have the benefit of a consult, I did not get to mention that they also fill an injectable prescription for me that also brings my blood sugar down automatically throughout the day. I take both. I would have like to know about this new medication a little bit more. There are some places where you can still get away with behaving like a child. The pharmacy is not that place. The pharmacy is not the place to be nonchalant, childish, disrespectful, unprofessional or distracted. Most of us don’t know everything when we first start a job. But if you have some fundamental ethics about you, you shouldn’t have too much trouble.I am not in the medical field. I am in a completely different field that also requires state licensing; if I were doing my job like this, I would lose my license.

Kudos to the employees at the Aloha Costco today!! Unexpectedly all registers went down! They immediately informed everyone and had all hands on deck to put back frozen foods or allow people to leave their carts and they worked quickly to restock items so they wouldn’t spoil.
And the IT department had all registers fixed in about 30 minutes. As soon as they were back online, they got every single register open immediately.
It was a bit of an inconvenience for sure but they showed excellent customer service throughout a very difficult situation - thank you!

Great Costco!Location was good, found a parking space easily. The staff were helpful. All Good! This review is also for their optical department. My daughter really liked the doctor who gave her the eye exam for her new contacts. And the support staff were both very attentive and efficient!

Best pharmacy hands down. I can’t even get rite aid to answer their phone! Costco is fast and they have the best prices by far. They also seem to have a lot of people working in their pharmacy which is why they are so fast. I’d go with them first.
