The most unprofessional vet/pet clinic I’ve ever seen. Was told to bring her over and then received a phone call a few minutes later saying that we weren’t welcome there due to a complaint that was filed against a former employee 1 1/2 years ago. I was really hoping that a new staff would be different but the new staff seems to be no different than the last one. I will be filing several complaints about this rip off of a clinic and take this as far legally as I can.

I had been going here for a long time since I had moved to hillsboro back in 2013. I had taken both my dogs here for any follow-up vaccines. Just recently had to put my dog down due old age. My dog is a female, but for whatevreaosn kept saying she was a boy...odd...then months back, I took her for a follow-up paid for a UA but decided not to do it. I never received a refund. Since the time I came here, it's not very caring. This office just wants a quick buck. The only reason I kept going is that after covid, it's almost impossible to get your animal in for an NP appointment. Since I have moved out of hillsboro, I will say never taking a pet to a companion clinic again.

People are very friendly and helpful, prices are decent, I like this clinic because the doctor is very kind and knowledgeable, and it is appointment based

They were so great. Our dog needed a booster for one of his vaccinations to be able to board at Petsmart. They took him in and got it done quickly. So thankful for their service!

It’s been a few years since I started taking my dogs to Dr Leuke. The staff has gotten really bad about communicating. The lack of faced to face time with the vet leaves so much room for things to get missed. I told the receptionist what my concerns were and then the doctor said he didn’t see anything,(like, what? How? How did you “not see” it?) but we’re expected to just trust him to do a thorough examination? and then we come home with zero resolution! I have recently found that Most of the things that I need to take care of my dogs, I can get on Amazon for between seven and $13 maybe $20. I realize that I don’t really need the vet for basic stuff anymore. At this point I could just use AI to tell me what kind of shampoo to get for my dogs coat. And then have it delivered to my door within two hours. At this point just doesn’t even make sense to pay the doctor for what basic care. For what? Nothing against the doctor really but really how much sense does it make for consumers to pay $200 for him to tell us what food to feed or dogs and then that food not even be high quality food. It makes no sense. And I don’t think it’s ever going to get any better. That’s the nature of the business. So the more that they don’t respond to emails and the more that they don’t call people back the more that they overcharge people it just really makes it seem like it’s not a sustainable practice. AI will be more helpful soon than this office. AI will be able to produce meal plans. And I will be able to recommend the right medicated shampoo. Shoot, you can already go on Amazon and find any medicated shampoo that you’re looking for. You can order oral flea-tick-mosquito prevention meds for $25 for four months and have it delivered to your door instead of $100 for six months from the vet. Plus you have to pay the vet visit! $25 online or $175 plus your time, for the same exact thing from the vet.

I’ve been using this vet clinic since 2015 when I moved to the area. The front desk staff were always helpful, answered the phone quickly and didn’t have to wait long to get in for an appointment and I liked the vet. Of course he recommended the works but didn’t give me a hard time when I didn’t go for everything (labs and X-rays) he suggested. The last visit (post COVID) and the world is re-opened. the clinic STILL has owners wait outside the clinic while they take your pet in for 45 minutes of an exam, blood work and treatment. Then the front desk come out with the bill. No face to face time with the Vet? Plus there is one bench for all the owners to sit and wait. Or go back to your car. While I understand this was necessary during lock down COVID but a year after we are back open I’m suspicious why I can’t join my dog during the exam and discuss treatment with the vet. Also their prices went up. And the last time I called to maybe try them again since he’s been our vet for 7 years and 3 pets the front desk gal was rude. we are not going back and looking for a new clinic.

Great service l, even though I got some bad news regarding my very senior Carl cat.Got a very alarming call from a former Companion franchise owner while speaking with the reception staff. They were able to trace the number to Dr. Koller, a known monster. Very strange occurrence but the reception staff made it immediately clear that Dr. Koller has no affiliation with their Companion franchise.

These people are the greatest. From the time you walk through the door to leaving you always know what's going on. When they say they're going to call you, they do.I've just recently had two of my fur babies at age 14 pass. They were helpful, understanding, caring and kind. I have 2 older dogs under their care, and I couldn't believe it my fur kids liked going to the vet.

Would bring my husbands dog in all the time. I was on hold for 20 + mins. When I asked to speak with the other receptionist who I’ve had great luck with every time (Kayla) I was told she wasn’t in the office with a snarky tone. The new receptionist has a horrible attitude that needs adjusting.

Honestly I purchased two puppy plans for the amount of 800$+ and the treatment I got for my dogs was not a very good experience.

I absolutely love this place. The staff are so friendly and accommodating as they can be with their busy schedule. They have always taken the best care of My little Sofia since she was 8 weeks old and she is now a year and a half old. I do think they are a little more on the expensive side, but I knew what I was signing up for when I decided to become a pet mom and my fur baby is everything to me and worth it.
