I took my car in to this dealership for a free oil change and was given a $1600 list of repairs that were recommended to be done. The following day I went to Les Schwab and Jiffy Lube and not only were the prices half the amount, but also I was told by those businesses that I did not need any work done on my car.
It just goes to show you what a scam this Nissan Of Beaverton Service Dept is!

This review is strictly for service, not sales or Nissan as a corporation necessarily. I’ve never had an issue with the service department. They’ve always been friendly, responsive, and flexible. My car is a 2008 Sentra that’s been through hell and back, and it’s good to have the peace of mind that a solid service department is nearby to help me sustain the vehicle as it nears 200K.

***** All dealer addons to a car are optional by law no matter what they tell you *****
This dealership behaves unlawfully. They tried to charge me an additional $1600 in bogus dealer addons. I refused the addons and the sales representative and finance manager said they’re mandatory. These actions are unlawful per the FTC CARS rule. I brought this unlawful behavior to their attention and the bogus fees were removed after tons of pushback. If they try to sell you any “mandatory” dealer addons, this is unlawful and report them to the FTC and OR attorney general.

Nick and Richard of Beaverton Nissan are GREAT ?
They helped me buy a nice EV to replace my kids aging Leaf. They were easy to communicate with and I especially appreciate how they were able to resolve a misunderstanding related to a tax incentive for ev purchases. Thanks ?

The service advisors are kind and helpful, the mechanics are thorough and efficient. I love coming here because I don’t get ripped off, they take the time to explain what’s going on, and they give me options. Highly recommend this spot for your Nissan needs :)

Sad to say, but this is the most degrading car dealership I have ever dealt with. From being literally laughed at because of the money I still owed on my vehicle, my down payment, and my children’s car seats..?? Was completely unprofessional. Then they ran my credit for a vehicle I didn’t even look at? I’ve been to a car dealership before where I was told *respectfully* there were no options for what I was looking for. With Beaverton Nissan I thought they had enough experience to do the same. But I absolutely wrong. Also not all people can afford $4,000+ down payments. When a customer tells you they want a SUV do not send them Sedans. When a customer says they want to stay in the range of their current monthly payments (meaning no more than $50-$100 extra a month) don’t keep pursuing with vehicles that are $150+ more each month. When a customer tells you it’s not affordable and there no other option; simply inform them that information respectfully. So both you and the customer don’t waste each others time.

Absolutely disgusting way of doing business. I was told by the manager Andrew, if i applied for a vehicle, was approved, they would hold the vehicle while I was on a long drive into Yellostone park and couldn't be responsive. That day. I was approved and was willing to place a deposit and he then he said no, he had scheduled others to test drive and sold it out from under me while I was unable to respond. All this while I shared with him my emergency need to purchase a vehicle due to an accident incurred 2 days before leaving for an extended trip. May not be the dealership but based on this interaction, I would not recommend.

Happy with the service from both sales and sales manager and finance was great.
Update, Purchased a second vehicle here this week and it was as easy as the first time. TJ was great to work with and they gave me what I wanted for my trade so we’re happy. Will be back for another one I’m sure. Thanks guys.
Update just bought my third vehicle from Beaverton Nissan and as always was very happy with the sales staff and the manager and finance did a good job too. When you go and ask for Christina and don’t forget to say hi to Joel.
Update, bought my 5th new car and Richard was awesome to work with. Told him what I wanted and where I needed my payment to be and he made it happen even with a warranty. Thanks again for all your help.

I just wanted to say I had the worst service yesterday with the salesperson Lisa. Right when I got there she came out and said " I could have slept in longer" because I was 15 mins after 10am. We were standing next to the Highlander I was interested in and Lisa said um that isn't the car, it's over here. My sister said no it's this one because it has the black rims, Lisa continued to say that isn't the one and proceeded to the other one. Well infact we were right and it was the one with the black rims. She also told my sister and I that we don't know cars brands. (Because my sister pointed out another Highlander and Lisa thought she pointed at a van) Lisa also tried starting the Highlander and it wouldn't start. So I had a bunch of concerns and she was getting upset with all my questions. When she handed me the keys to test drive. I shut the car off because I wanted to check the car out and Lisa ran out and said "no no no don't turn the car off, what are you doing?" I said I am making sure the car is going to start back up before I drive it around. Lisa then started getting annoyed and saying the battery is fine we charged it. I said I understand but I am going to double check before I test drive this.
We got back and I told her I don't want to run my credit because I have other dealerships I am going to if this one doesn't work out. We sit down in her office and I said I just wanted a rough estimate (gave my credit score, 550 payments and just put the interest rate at 10 percent)
She starts asking me all the questions. when she finally got to the social security part, I said "wait, are you checking my credit" Lisa replied with yes. I said I don't want my credit ran yet. She seemed frustrated and got up to talk to the manager. Brought me a rough estimate, over Kelley blue book with $999 added for low jack and over 600 for registration. She proceeded to say if you looked at the fine print you would have seen the low jack fees. And then said everywhere in Beaverton does that. I said no bank will approve me for 4k over Kelley blue book and she starts questioning me like I'm a idiot. So my sister called her out on it and this all stemmed from the second Lisa walked out to the parking lot with her negativity. We ended up leaving and I told Lisa she can text me if the manger can figure out something more in range with Kelley blue book.
I ended up going to Toyota, they said they do not do low jack and the registration fee definitely isn't that high. I messaged Lisa and told her that. She replied back with well that was a typo, I would have fixed it if you didn't leave. And even if I worked around the low jack you wouldn't have purchased anyway.
So long story I apologize but it was a very awful experience and I feel like Lisa is very unprofessional.
Toyota in Beaverton was a night and day experience.

Very effective check in system even though I made an appointment it didn’t seem to matter. I went in to have my parking break re calibration done. It should not have taken a full hour but I was charged a full hour at $190. I was satisfied with the service but feel it should not have been so expensive. A very pleasant staff and waiting area.
