Fantastic work. Just look at the type of corner they had to work around. The work that was not needed or could not be performed once the rug was pulled back (no joist found so can't fix the squeak) was removed from the original estimate. The squeak that could be repaired is solid. My house is a 2001 build FYI. Super nice and professional and clean. Thank you to the whole CS crew!

Had a great experience with Carpet Surgeon. Glen knew exactly what I was after, and Ralph is a carpet stretching guru. Surgeons indeed! He was able to vastly improve our aging basement carpet that had developed some wrinkles over the years. I thought the price was fair and booking was quick/easy. Great all around, highly recommended.

This morning, I had a highly unpleasant encounter with a driver from Carpet Surgeon. While driving through Scappoose and down Hwy 30 to Cornelius Pass Rd, their driver aggressively tailgated me. Despite the fact that I was already driving over the speed limit and there were vehicles in front of me, the driver continued to tailgate, making the experience stressful and uncomfortable. There was no reason for their behavior, as I was not holding up traffic in any way. This kind of rude and unsafe driving is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company.

I really do not want to leave a bad review for a local business. But want to share my feedback.
Pros: Communication - it was easy to work with them, they were able to work with our changing schedule due to moving into our new home. Technicians who worked seemed happy employees. Ability to pay for the invoice was a simple/easy process.
Cons:
Not up front pricing and performance.
Over the phone I was quoted $400 based on room quantity but the actual invoice was over %60 more than I was quoted. The reason, they do charge per sq foot and not room size. Their sq foot calculation was correct but was I quoted that amount, I could have shopped and compared pricing better. They should have mentioned their pricing to me up front - not disclosing that key info was not good. It is easy to get sq foot size of the home, too. You can simply pull the room size online on Zillow. You do not even need to be present to give an accurate quote.
Once I did complain about this significant price change after I saw the large increase, they did offer some discount but still it was over $530 compared to $400. They should have mentioned the pricing difference before they started the job as a courtesy even at that point, it would have been better. So that left a bad experience for me hence lower rating.
Performance was mediocre. Some spots were not cleaned. For the price and based on other reviews, I expected top notch.
Overall, I had better experience with other carpet cleaning companies. I thought I was getting quality service and honest pricing but it felt short on those areas.

Great, detail oriented crew that is very knowledgeable about their trade. Friendly, transparent, and amazing work. When we first moved into our house the carpet smelled strongly of the previous owners dogs and was also triggering allergic reactions—the Carpet Surgeon team was able to promptly get a technician out here and even squeak in a bit of time to stretch some carpet that had was wrinkled even though it wasn’t originally part of the plan. We loved their work so much we called them back two years later to fix a transition area our cats had ravaged. 100% the company we will go to for whatever carpet needs we have.

Highly unimpressed with the "fix" on our home rental. Huge seam right in the center of a pie shaped step in the center of our stairs that drives us all nuts! I can't imagine the previous tenant accepting this and actually paying $320 because it looks like chit

I was so impressed with both the quality of clean on our townhouse carpet, the friendly service from our tech (Jr.), and the pleasant business interaction with Glen. The process was fast, painless, and worth every penny. Thank you so much for helping us care for our home!

Similar to other reviewers, while researching how to fix the wrinkles in my carpet, I was surprised when I came across a company with a 5 star review and so many reviews. Based on the reviews, I hired Carpet Surgeon to stretch the carpet in every room on the 2nd floor of my home plus had my couch and an area rug cleaned. Everything looks absolutely wonderful. Ralph, Gabriel and Glen were extremely friendly and professional, and the price was very reasonable. I'm especially impressed with the repair job on my carpet. I was a bit skeptical about how it would work simply because I have never had carpet stretched before and I am not familiar with the process, but it looks so good and makes a world of difference aesthetically. The investment was worth every penny and I'd hire them again in a heartbeat!

When doing my research for a company to stretch my old carpet I was surprised to see the Carpet Surgeon had 5.0 stars and 90 reviews. I went witj them and from start to finish they earned 5 stars. Professional, knowledgeable, prompt, excellent communication, fair price, good work, and the friendliest guy did the work for us! I highly recommend Carpet Surgeon!
