“I went here a year ago to look at wedding dresses and try and find my dress and all I can say is how incredible this shop, the volunteers, and the cause is. We were running a few minutes behind for my appointment because of traffic and they were so kind and welcoming still instead of being upset. The process was explained very well and I loved being able to roam and look at dresses and pick as I liked. They had an area for me to get changed in and it had my name and the whole experience was so wonderful! I found my dress and it was in fantastic condition. I also bought my veil and jewelry from here and the jewelry was perfect and beautiful and the veil was a perfect match. The prices are so incredible and helped me while on a tight budget, I couldn’t believe that I was able to get my dress, veil, and jewelry for the price I did! They truly are amazing and the cause is one I want to support in any way!I didn’t know how to get my google to cooperate with me to post a review so here’s my review a year later, but I would go back to them over and over again and I recommend them to any of my friends!”

“I had a wonderful experience at True Society by The White Dress. I was pretty nervous and shy prior to my appointment, but right off the bat everyone was so welcoming and polite. The little room that my party and I were in was cute and comfortable and adorably furnished. There was a wonderful selection of dresses to choose from, and my stylist Jordan did an excellent job picking out dresses that fit both my budget and my style! She was also very sweet and listened to everything that I had to say about each and every dress. I said yes to my dress and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. “I cannot say enough good things about my appointment. It was my first time wedding dress shopping, I was super nervous to try on dresses & have that much attention on me. But my stylist Erin was so attentive, genuine, and kind. She gave her honest opinions in a kind way, and always made me feel like I was the priority. I felt extremely comfortable & confident with her! She didn’t force the connection, it was genuine and very effortless. I went to a second appointment after BHLDN at another salon in Portland. My experience was unfortunately quite opposite to my experience at BHLDN. Rushed, dis genuine, & uncomfortable! Immediately knew we were running right back to Anthropologie and trying on dresses with Erin again. After one appointment I left with my dress for my wedding. So happy and very pleased, would recommend her and BHLDN to anyone!”
“Bethany is a magician! I showed up to her about 9 months before my wedding with my grandmother’s 1950s wedding dress in a trash bag. She took a very yellow, discolored and so so fragile dress and washed the fabric until it was IVORY. It was incredible and I honestly didn’t think it was salvageable. She used the lace from the dress to create an heirloom veil that will be special to me and my family for generations. My grandmother passed before we were married and it was all that more special to have her wrapped around me on my wedding day. Don’t hesitate to take your project to Bethany!”

“I worked with Bri, and let me tell you..I had the best experience I’ve ever had. They called me days prior to make sure my appointment was correct and asked me some questions to make it easier to find the dress I wanted. Everyone was warm and welcoming, my dress was the second one I tried on and nothing could beat it. They’re very understanding and don’t pressure you to spend more money. They make you feel good about what you’re wearing and ask good questions as to what you do and don’t like about dresses. Bri and I were on the same page the second we started to look at dresses which eased my anxiety. It had been over four years since I wore a dress and they were not judgmental at all. They offered us champagne and the whole environment was super cute and chic. I’m still obsessed with the couches they have in there. They even had the belt and veil I wanted too! The whole experience was absolutely amazing. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Even the manager was incredibly helpful.
