I visited the Aloha location on Wednesday around 5:30 pm, they had 4 employees visible, 3 behind the counter having a loud conversation about rude customers and one employee gathering carts outside. First impression was terrible, because of the banter, I immediately felt uncomfortable. 3 employees behind the counter and only one person checking people out ?♀️
After waiting in line for what seemed like an eternity I made my purchase and left. It is really disappointing to have young staff not being trained properly to create a welcoming atmosphere.

They should have people who speak Spanish, good prices but the service needs to be improved

Random stuff, some good, some bad. Random deals, some good, most not that exceptional.[Update] 8:20 on a Thursday, line backed up, but Jo Ann, bless her heart, refused to call for help. The line maintained it's long length, a woman walks away from the line, shaking her head, but Jo Ann trudges on, still pointing at every receipt, impervious to the annoyed stares of those in line.

If I could do zero I absolutely would. I’m not one to leave reviews especially not bad ones but OMG. I have a loss for words. First I get there and the shelves look just about empty. Ok I can get past that. There’s a man named Marcus very very unprofessional on the phone walking towards the back. So I asked again and he told me to hush he would get back to me once I asked him about a couch. I get it everyone has bad days. I head to the bathroom which are closed for customers for what I can almost bet it’s because they look like a bates motel bathroom. Yuck hasn’t been cleaned since 2008 when this place opened. After all that fun I head to check out and an individual named Rob asked me and the forces me to get into the rewards program not taking no for an answer I had just ended up leaving instead because of my frustration. I’d avoid. There’s a reason there’s hardly any left.

Fun finds everytime! It's always an adventure because of the constant stream of new product. Store staff are very nice, with good, cheerful, helpful attitudes! They are to be applauded for that, as this isn't maybe one of the most delightful areas to work in.

Visited this big lots store from 2005-2007. Didn't visit last week. Has lots of stuff. Restrooms were vandalized back then and closed for awhile. I think they got them up and running again. I thought it was an excellent store. A lot of stuff to choose from.

alright I love Big Lots great prices but I had an Interview today but store Manager Marcus was very rude to me and very Unprofessional basically said I wasn't a good fit for the company
