This is a good location. Their audio and camera / lens selection is lacking but I go to jantzen beach for the magnolia and Cascade station for lenses. This is an excellent local option for everything else. Great computer and accessory selection

In late November if 2023 i purchased a new stereo, bought the stero harness and had best buy installed. I had to wait 2 or 3 weeks for an install appointment which was fine. Within that Time the stereo head unit i purchased was giving to someone else and the manager called to inform me and i could just get a cheaper model and not the one i research and waited for shipping. Then after install the manager call to inform me that the head unit was not compatible with my current backup camera and i would either go without it or pay for another one. Again i would expect that i would be informed of this ahead of time. Now fast forward to feb 2nd of 2024 ( 1 years and 3 months later) the head unit has no sound. Turns out according to another best buy location the wiring harness fail. The tech informed me thst the previous install was completed sloppily done and it would be $159 for a new harness. I should have know it was a terrible install give that that install tech gave my car back with a broken vent cover and said i could Probably fix it myself. The janzten beach location manager informed me that that harness would not be covered by warranty. Long story short if tou want to have crappy install service, long wait and to buy a wiring harness twice please choose this location. I will adjust this review if best buy adjust the customer service!!!

Save your gas and use Amazon!Can barely get anyone to come help you and when someone finally does show up they tell you they don’t have the item you want in stock so they say to order it online and come pick it up or you can drive out to Janzen Beach because apparently they regularly get new stock. Couldn’t even buy a case for a Samsung tablet because they didn’t have any. Would’ve saved so much time by just buying all this on Amazon and then paying the $35 to have Geek Squad put on the screen protector.

The employee's are not super helpful if you have any questions. If they are busy at all expect to be there for at least 30 minutes. Any question I had was shot down. I bought a computer from here but when I actually was able to look at it from the box it was DIRTY. & it did not work at all. Thank goodness they have a return policy

For those of you needing appliances I encourage you to Avoid Best buy, especially the one on Cedar Hills. They care zero about their customers. My dryer died last weekend, we went to Best buy at Cedar Hills in hopes of buying a new one. We found a floor model that looked good. The price was right, we set up the purchase, and then delivery for Monday, 2/5. I got a call this morning, 2/3 from an offshore call center contracted by Best buy, where a woman with broken English told me Sorry, no delivery on Monday. That's pretty much all I could get out of her. Even her manager couldn't really tell more than sorry. I tried to call the store, but apparently that number listed for the store goes to a call center. I proceeded to the store, in person, and requested a manager- where the supposed store manager lied about not being a manager. I was directed to an associate manager. She looked up my order and said "oh yes, there's a delay. It's not in the warehouse yet." Apparently Best buy has everything delivered out of a subcontracted warehouse in downtown Portland. I asked the supposed associate manager if she could call the warehouse. She claimed she didn't have a number for them. I asked if they lost the display model dryer that I purchased. She said No. I asked well where is it then? She said "I don't know." She declined any further assistance and issued a refund. One star , would not recommend if you want actual custom service. I took my money down the street to Standard TV and Appliance on Hall. They had a dryer that will work and can be delivered on Thursday. The salesman promised me they don't lose dryers and that if I call the store number during business hours an actual person at their actual store will answer the phone. If you are still reading- I'm 44. One of my first jobs was at Good Guys Home Audio. Custom service was absolutely expected, necessary, and required. Apparently, now no one at Best buy actually cares to do the job of taking care of the customer. So disappointing. I'm pretty disgusted with the whole ordeal. Thanks for reading.

Bought an expensive Fridge that was to be delivered on a Friday with a called on Thursday informing BestBuy's time range. No phone call! When I called BestBuy, their automated system recognized my number, saying looks like you have a delivery tomorrow between 2 and 5. Great! Next day, their truck arrived at 11.30am. Good thing I was home, right?. The delivery man said: several upset customers, they told him they didn't have a call from BestBuy either. He said, make sure you tell them in the email survey. Of course, no survey ever arrived. Of course, BestBuy doesn't care. They deal in volume. They've got our money! This bad experience comes with a NO to future BestBuy business for me. US work ethic sucks.

This best buy was pretty fantastic. Needed a ps5 and they had everything I needed in stocks. I was in and put super fast, can't complain one bit.
