The new BMO office is great. The staff are friendly knowledgeable and experienced. They were able to assist me with an estate and trust issue promptly. For the detailed situations to get the accounts up and running properly, it was easy. They reached out to their support team,as needed,and we got accounts set up. Access to the appropriate beneficiaries, ATM debit cards are provided from the branch while you wait on an official one. Such excellent service. I am so thankful this has now become a BMO bank!

This was my first time in the branch as my BMO account is in a different state. I went in to link my credit union account for external transfer so that I could move money between them without having to write a check every time. The teller looked at me like he'd never heard of what I was asking. When I talked to a woman from the "sit down" section, she told me that she could set up the link but the bank would treat the transfers as wire transfers and I would be charged $30 each time. When I said I guess I needed to work with someone online to get it done, she said "Oh, I can get it done for you, but the bank is still going to charge you for a wire transfer." I told her that was absurd and stalked out in a huff, which I'm not especially proud of. Looking online later, I immediately found where it said that external transfers between linked accounts had no charge. Rather than deal with them again, I went to a different branch where it was accomplished with no trouble whatsoever, though it does take a few days to verify that everything is solid before you can use it. The people at this branch were distinctly unhelpful and ignorant in this interaction. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 for two reasons. First, I wonder if maybe she thought I wanted to make a transfer Right That Moment, which probably would have required a wire transfer. Even if that were the case, I'd want my banker to ask clarifying questions to understand things in a situation like this. Second, it was the day after Thanksgiving, so it's likely that i was dealing with the least experienced staff in each position that day (which would explain the teller's confusion to my initial question). Regardless, when you're dealing with people's money, employees either need to know what they're doing or be able to say, "I'm not 100% sure, let me check," or "I'm not sure if the policy on that changed when we merged, let me check." or "Because of the holiday yesterday, I'm covering a different area and not as familiar with these services, let me check." When I said I would need to talk to someone else her "Well you can check but you'll still be wrong" attitude really rubbed me the wrong way.

PATHETIC -I am in Thailand and misspelled my password 2x and they will not let me use my online banking unless i come in person! DO NOT JOIN THIS BANK they are irrational and I will close my account when i return

Office hours are NOT convenient for my work hours 9-6 , the bank opening 9:30-5 !!! With the BOW Tigard bank closed out , it is very inconvenient to go the nearest office .

This is the worst customer service bank experience. The front door said closed back at 3:00 pm Arrived back at the bank at 3:10 and a new sign was posted said back in 30 minutes. Please see photo the sign doesn’t indicate when the 30 minutes would be up. Now 30 minutes is up and a teller comes out and said it would be another 10 to 15 minutes. There has been multiple cars drive up and leave During this 40 minutes. Time is money and this bank appears to not focus on customer service. I would not count on the availability of this bank.

I regret the day I opened an account with Bank of the West. So glad I finally closed out the last one. They are very slow paying you the money that they owe you. No Help from this local branch either. Terribly rude and non caring staff especially the manager.

I've been banking here for years and have multiple business checking accounts. Everyone here knows my staff and family and treats us very well. Joann Miller is amazing and goes way out of her way to always be helpful.

Trey is AMAZING! my entire family has banked with Bank of the west ever since I can remember, including my moms business accounts and theres times i come in and some employees are much friendlier than others...
