Expensive. Hard to get anyone to answer the phone. Too busy.

For just being open their bathroom was dirty. Full trash can, but hair on the sink, and hair and big dust piles. Tried to get us to drop our dog off for a pet visit. We were not doing that because our dog is 15 yrs old and we just came to get arthritis meds.

They will nickel and dime you, and they stop being pleasant the second you decide you don’t want to purchase hundreds of dollars of unneeded overpriced services. They never pick up the phone. I wound up scheduling an emergency appt and a follow up appt by going in in person to the office. They misdiagnosed my dog and the vet didn’t ever even talk to me about it. We will never come back to any Banfield location.

I am writing this review with great disappointment regarding the unacceptably lackluster response I have received from Banfield Pet Hospital at Cedar hills Crossing. My recent experience has left me questioning the level of care and customer service provided by this establishment. My pet's health is of utmost importance to me, and I entrusted Banfield Pet Hospital with their well-being. Unfortunately, when I attempted to communicate with the staff regarding a concern I had, I was met with a shocking lack of response. This lack of responsiveness has raised serious doubts about the competence and professionalism of the team at Cedar hills Crossing. My wife and I reached out on several occasions by phone since end of November leaving messages, detailing my concerns and seeking clarification on my pet's health. To my dismay, my attempts to connect with the hospital have been met with silence. As a responsible and concerned pet owner, I find this disregard for communication utterly unacceptable.Effective communication is a fundamental aspect of any reputable pet care service, and the apparent negligence displayed by Banfield Pet Hospital at Cedar hills Crossing is disheartening. Pet owners rely on veterinary professionals to address their queries and provide guidance on their pets' health. The lack of response has not only left me frustrated but has also raised doubts about the commitment of Banfield Pet Hospital to the well-being of the animals under their care.I strongly urge the management of Banfield Pet Hospital at Cedar hills Crossing to address this issue promptly. Improving communication channels and responsiveness is crucial to maintaining the trust and confidence of pet owners who entrust their beloved animals to your care.In conclusion, my experience with Banfield Pet Hospital at Cedar hills Crossing has been marred by an unacceptably lackluster response to my concerns. I sincerely hope that this review prompts the necessary improvements in communication and customer service within the establishment.

Called there all morning to get my dog seen. I had to go in and talk to a receptionist in regards to my dog. They are short staffed so it's nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone. Same day emergency visits seem to no longer be available even for an established pet. Had to schedule a drop off the following morning.

This mostly in regards to their payment plans. I no longer needed a payment plan and was advised that if I cancelled shortly after signing up for it I would have to pay the full visit fee but if i paid X amount of months (cannot remember the number) I could cancel. WRONG. Apparently I agreed to a 12 month plan. They ended up sending it to collections in my husband's name (sloppy and inaccurate as he had nothing to do with it and did not sign any agreements in regards to this pet.) I ended up paying the reduced amount to the collections company. I hope that $50 or whatever you got from selling the amount to a collections company was worth it Banfield. I will literally NEVER set foot in your office again.

My dog, River, was being seen at the Northwest location for around 2 years. She was just seen in September of 2023 for her annual check-up. Banfield NW abruptly closed on 10/13/23, with about 2 weeks notice. I sent in her Heartguard refill via Chewy the week of their closing to ensure we would have it before they closed. The vet did not send the refill into Chewy before closing. I called around to a couple of other Banfield and they said I would have to schedule an entirely new appt starting at $72 in order to get the Heartguard script. I then brainstormed on my own and thought that maybe the vet who saw River at NW Banfield moved to a different location. I confirmed that Dr Lockfeld went to Banfield Beaverton and asked if I could have the refill request sent there rather than scheduling an entirely new appt. They said yes. Which leads me to today - I have been trying to get this refill approved since the first week of October and it is now 10/31/23 with no approval. I’ve called Banfield Beaverton three times and spoken to staff who said they would make sure it gets approved. No luck with that. I have called several times between yesterday and today with no answer. Once this prescription is finally approved, River will never go back to Banfield nor will I recommend them to anyone.

Banfield has lost my business for life. Very tragically, my kitten passed away from FIPV. Since I had signed up for the wellness plan, I had to cancel her plan when she passed away. She had only been seen twice at Banfield, yet they tried to charge me for extra services that were not rendered while I was trying to cancel the plan. Their hollow, robotic, “We’re sorry for your loss” responses added insult to injury. I have no problem paying for the services that were provided, however, I should not have to go through invoices with a fine-toothed comb while also grieving the tragic loss of a pet to make sure I’m not being nickeled and dimed by this company. Lesson learned, I will never use Banfield’s services again, and opt for a home vet instead of I adopt another pet in the future.

Thanks guys for taking care of my dog, he is family and we all want what is best for our family. Thanks for making his experience not scary but pleasant even though he got all his vaccines, he was a true alpha male and handled it great.

I just took my cat here for her first vet visit and I can already tell you I will not be returning. The person I can only assume who was the Veterinarians assistant should have been wearing slacks and a suit because from the moment she entered the room to the moment I left all she wanted to do was sell me their monthly plan. As someone who has experience working in sales, you need to build rapport with someone before you try selling them products. Especially when it comes to the health and well-being of your customers loved one.. The vet came in during her pitch and tried to start the exam and decided it was better to wait for the (salesperson/assistant) to finish before starting.. The assistant even offered to sell me a product without even weighing my cat. This is a huge risk because the product being offered is for specific weight ranges and could kill your pet if not given the appropriate dose. When I asked comparative questions to compare whether or not there was a saving to pay for services monthly, or in a lump sum the assistant could not answer my questions on how much it cost at once. She could certainly tell me it costs $51 a month for a teeth cleaning service though.. The bottom line is do not come here. The environment here is obviously one of making as much money off of you as possible, with as little explanation possible because they can prey on people making emotional decisions with their pets. I will say that the person at the front desk was very kind and welcoming. The Vet was also kind, professional, and gentle with my cat. That does not make up for the soulless sales pitch this company obviously puts as the top priority when seeing new patients.

I brought my cats to Banfield for 2 years, as I was intrigued by the comprehensive wellness plan that included many of the standard labs and exams that my 17 year old pet needs regularly for kidney disease. I am happy to say I am leaving Banfield as my wellness plan contract finally ended. Since you do not ever see the same vet who knows your pet, and never see the vet examine your pet at all (drop off appointments only), continuity of care is nonexistent. The most recent vet I saw denied my cat his kidney labs for his chronic kidney disease. The one prior called my cat aggressive and recommended Prozac, even though she has no behavioral issues at home and the risk on Prozac is extensive. The one prior to that couldn't even talk to me on the phone because they had to pick up their children from Water Polo practice. I received a phone call the next day from someone who did not examine my cat and just read the other vet's discharge instructions to me. Upon reviewing my pets medical summary reports, I noticed that Banfield stated "client declined" many services of which were never even offered. Banfield is additionally difficult to reach by phone, and near impossible to get your existing records or prescriptions that they prescribed resent to you. The few positive things I have to say are all about the vet techs. They have all been quite lovely, interactive and kind with my pets, and truly listen to my concerns during the check in process. They have gone above and beyond to wash my pet's blankets that got dirty, and comfort my pet during long wait periods to see the doctor.

I brought my dog in for his wellness appointment on May 13th. He was not doing well during the appointment (trouble breathing, had some pain) and they were understandably unable to complete the exam as intended. Despite that, they insisted on charging me $475.94 for the visit. My dog sadly died within a few weeks. I have sent detailed emails to banfieldcares as requested, and no one replies. I tried calling their main line, and tried online chat, but both said I needed to have the hospital who created the spurious charge adjust it. I repeatedly called Banfield Cedar Hills, but the wait is incessantly long, due their "large call volumes." I finally got through today after several long waits and spoke with Celeste. I asked for the Practice Manager, but she did not put me through, instead she said that there was nothing that she could do.

This place is horrible, they don’t answer their phones and they don’t return calls. The office personnel told me that they don’t care and it’s not their problem. I was trying to reach them because my dog needs his arthritis medication l. If you love you pet, DO NOT GO HERE!
