I cannot emphasize enough how thoroughly disappointed and disgusted I was with my entire Avis experience at the location on 10385 Southwest Canyon Rd in Beaverton, OR 97005. From the moment I stepped up to the counter, it was clear that customer service was not a priority.The gentleman at the counter was not only extremely rude but also shockingly short-tempered and unpleasant. It was disheartening to witness him and his female coworkers openly complaining about customer orders while I was waiting. It's as if they had no regard for the customers they were supposed to serve.What compounded my frustration was the complete lack of transparency in their processes. When it came to the rental procedure, the staff failed to provide clear instructions, especially regarding the "insert card here" sign. To make matters worse, my credit score was checked without any prior notice or explanation. It's common courtesy to inform a customer when their credit score is being accessed and to clarify the reason behind it, but this courtesy was utterly absent.The pinnacle of my disappointment came when I got inside the rental car. The interior was a mess. The seats were stained, and the remnants of food from previous customers were scattered all over the floor. It was absolutely revolting, and I couldn't believe that Avis would allow a car in such a deplorable condition to be rented out. To my dismay, there were no other available cars to switch to, leaving me stuck with this grimy vehicle.My ordeal continued when I returned the car in Seattle, albeit two hours later than planned. I fully understood that I would be charged extra for the delay, but what infuriated me was the complete lack of communication. They never bothered to inform me that I would be charged for an entire additional day. This kind of hidden fee is inexcusable and further highlights the utter disregard for customer satisfaction.In conclusion, my experience with Avis at this location was nothing short of a nightmare. I felt utterly mistreated, disrespected, and cheated throughout the entire process. Given this abysmal experience, I can confidently say that I will never consider renting from Avis again. In the future, I will exclusively choose Enterprise for my car rental needs, as they have consistently provided me with a far superior level of service and transparency.

Had an issue with our rental (from another lot), went here to change our car for another. The service was excellent and friendly. Vehicle was clean and ready to go and we were not expected (although the call center said they would notify the lot).Not only was the service top quality but the Halloween decorations were super cool.

I’ve seen dozens of terrible review but I had a very pleasant experience. We rented a minivan for 4 adults, 2 kids and a dog. I did attempt to vacuum up the sand and small amount of dog hair, but the Avis employee stopped me and said they’d take care of it. Car was clean, full of gas, ran well. This location has a passable public restroom.

Would give no stars if I could. Absolutely the worst customer service experience of my life. Booked through priceline (huge mistake) weeks ahead of time for a one way rental. Got my 24 hour confirmation from Priceline and went to the check in link and it says my reservation has been canceled. Spent all morning on the phone being transfered back and forth between avis and Priceline ( while I was at work btw- because I was leaving town first thing the next morning) Not one person could find a car for me, tell me why or who canceled the reservation, or even take responsibility. What (I think) happened was Avis canceled my reservation, again no email or call or notification, because they didn't want a one way rental. Even though Priceline's system let me book it. Several people I vented my frustrations to told me the same thing happened to them. Save yourself the trouble and go to enterprise. They were great! Had I not tried to check in through the confirmation email I would have thought all was good because I had several confirmations, ubered out to beaverton and then been without a car and would have had to spend a morning scrambling and been hours behind on my trip. Just awful. WORST customer service ever. Go to enterprise- it'll cost more but WORTH IT!

Very bad office and behaviour from the a girl on front diskI made reservations by Uber and I have confirmation number that with specific time to pick up.When I arrived to pick ip my card , she said we don’t have a car?

Nice people who made the rental process quick and painless. I ended up needing to call to see if I was able to extend my rental by a few days and it was done and taken care of in a few minutes with not too bad of a price rate for last minute booking!

AVIS & Budget 10385 SW Canyon Rd, Beaverton, OR 97005After being stranded in Wyoming with bald tires, there is no way I would recommend Avis to anyone. We are out over $2,000 from this experience due to buying new tires, tow, and hotel stays. Avis left us stranded in the middle of WY while their customer service lied to us multiple times. When they finally helped us they towed the car 3 hrs from our 2nd stranded location and left us to pay for the tires after telling us they would pay. Our entire vacation was ruined due to this experience. The only reason we were not left stranded the whole time was due to calling the Highway Patrol in WY for help otherwise we would probably be stuck in the middle of no where to this day! Customer Service is based out in another country where they have scripted comments and trying to get them to understand your plight is liking pulling teeth. If you don't choose their insurance be prepared to get absolutely no help ever. Worst experience!! Thanks Avis for ruining my trip and giving me an unsafe car to drive.**** Update 06/27/23 - today (a month later) AVIS tried charging my card in the amount of $1376.11 for tires!!!!! Tires that we already paid for while stranded in Wyoming that the company DID NOT PURCHASE. AVIS customer relations has not refunded us for the tires that "WE PAID FOR" nor have they reached out to us. Lester Gates the Territory Manager reached out to my companion last week telling him that we would be refunded however that has not happened and instead they tried "charging" me $1376.11. Cannot be more upset with this company!!

worst car location. They never give clean cars and also don't treat customers properly with respect. Better avoid this location.Management team - If you are not interested in renting CLEAN cars to customers and not treat them right, It would be great for you to close your location permanently

I made a reservation and needed a pick up. I found out that they can't pick up anyone. So I had to get a Lyft to the rental location. They had to look up my reservation and then the agent told me they had only one car available which is not what I reserved and I had to pay an extra $10 for a Chevy Volt. Who charges more when they have to give you something else? Most legitimate rental companies will give you a free upgrade. Plus they informed me it would have to be returned back to that rental office and not in Washington which I was planning to do. Their website allowed it but they said they couldn't do it. So, I was stuck in the office with no options and wasn't able to get where I needed to go. You can't trust reservations whether made on a third party site or their own site because they can't/won't honor it.I read reviews about Budget and chose Avis to avoid them only to find out they are the same office. I heard another agent charging the next customer $15 for the same vehicle because they didn't have the car they reserved. Terrible and fraudulent!

I booked 7 seater but instead they gave me 5 seater. They even not bothered to inform me about the unavailability of the vehicle.
