I found Amish Traditions after going to the local Stickley Furniture store to buy home office furniture. Even though the Stickley store was having a sale, I was shocked by the price and there were no options as to the type of wood or finish for the desk I wanted. The exact opposite was true at Amish Traditions. In addition to the furniture that is on the floor, there are tons of books to order from in any wood and finish you desire at a fraction of the cost. The quality is excellent, and the furniture will last more than a lifetime. Additionally, you can work with the salesperson to customize the size and look of the item that you order. Jim, the person I have worked with now on a number of orders is excellent, nice, helpful and is very low pressure. This is not my "go to" furniture store.

Great custom furniture that will last a lifetime. It's definitely a buy once, cry once type of places. Well worth the extra money.

We just ordered a piece of Amish furniture as the quality is unequalied. The store has only a few examples but the catalogues are full of amazing items. Give the Amish a look when buying good quality, long lasting REAL furniture.

Store run by a husband and wife. The wife was quite pleasant and helpful. The husband was inexplicably rude. At one point aggressively “correcting” the wife about her sales…all in front of customers. Terribly awkward and degrading to the poor woman. We felt so offended, as much for her as for us, that we left and bought elsewhere. Suggest you stay away from this place and that owner.

My husband and I absolutely love Amish Traditions. The salesman Jim is wonderful to work with. He is personable, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He is also, just plain nice. Have bought quite a bit of furniture and plan to but more.

Happened to see a beautiful table at the Home and Garden show and decided to go to the store to see other items. I totally fell in love with a beautiful cherry table! The price was right and I couldn't pass it up! We worked with Jim and he couldn't have been a better sales person. He helped us and answered questions, but also let us wander and ponder as much as we wanted. I am so happy with our purchase and with the customer service! I wish I had more room or need to buy other products from them! Five stars is really not enough!
