If you're looking for meat on the weekends here is not the place, personally I'd say a meat market should always have meat

So I went to Aloha halal market to get some Ingredients to surprise my friend that was coming over to visit. They do have a dietary restriction which only allows them to eat Halal Food due to religious purposes. So I couldn't just go to Winco or any regular grocery store to get these specific halal ingredients. So I came here to find all the ingredients I needed which I did and I learned so much on the internet about what it means to be Halal.Halal is an Arabic word that simply means lawful or permitted, but generally refers to what’s allowed under Islamic law. It’s the opposite of haram, which means prohibited. Some things are very clear-cut halal or haram, however, as with a lot of religious law, other things can be open to interpretation. So I need to buy some meat that's why I couldn't go to any regular grocery store because for meat to be certified halal, it must be slaughtered in a manner known as dhabiha. That means to drain all blood from the carcass. In Islam, the consumption of blood is considered haram/not-allowed. A Muslim must recite a dedication known as tasmiya or shahada during this process. Not all meat can be made halal, regardless of how it was slaughtered. Animals that are always haram/not-allowed to eat include:Pork and its by-products are strictly forbidden,Donkeys, mules, and horses, Fanged animals (cats, dogs, bears, etc),Birds of prey,Reptiles and Some other animals such as monkeys.Overall I would recommend coming here if you are like me cooking for someone who has a restriction on food of the religious purpose, or you yourself are in the religion and just want to come and find some Halal Ingredients.

This place (the owner of this place) chasing money and wealth of this World completely forgot about the other World the other Dunya. The products are not the freshest and the price is too high. Actually because the prices are too high they are not sold on time and that's why that store is full of not so fresh products. If they were prices right in the Halal way or at least close to Halal way they would sell much faster and be always fresh. Buying meat from them is like playing lottery, you never know what you're getting. The butcher said it is fresh young meat, I bring it home it cooks like a rubber shoe. Happened at least 4 times. Colorless tasteless and harsh. The filo dough for baklava crumbles and falls apart even if the expiration date is still good. Same Filo dough from Winco is 2$ cheaper and always fresh, doesn't crumble. The pack of Turkish Ravioli used to cost 3 something dollars just a month ago, now it is 9+ bucks for the same size and type ravioli. A gallon of ayran (thats just a cup of yogurt and water) is 10 bucks. Sweets, cheese, frozen goods EVERYTHING is ridiculously overpriced. I understand that they need to make money, but nothing about this is Halal. Make prices reasonable so more costumers would prefer your store. All Halal stores are guilty of this, but this location is the worst. For the good things I have to say about this store is that the selection of items is very good. They have products that many nationalities and cultures will enjoy. Turkish, Syrian, Egyptian, Greek, even Armenian and many more. The selection and brands is great. The store itself is always clean and well stocked, never seen empty shelves, or messy boxes on the floor. Always clean and full.

Worst customer service I experienced today. I went there to buy meat as someone told their product is good. Below are my questions and answers from the guy at Aloha Halal. Do you have goat meat? He said right in front of you. Why is price reduced on one of this product? He said he wanted to sell. I asked if this is not fresh and that is why price is reduced? He asked does this look like different by appearance? Of course it is difficult to say from just appearance. I asked what is the difference between lamp and goat meat? He said O My god, you need to google. I am not your teacher.Such is the attitude of these people. You are there to sell product and answe questions to the customers satisfaction. Or if you don’t wanna answer, you can still be polite. I came out without buying anything as they don’t deserve it after this experience. I would rather spend extra dollar and go to store where people are friendly and customer oriented.
