This is definitely an immigrant hangout, I tried to go shoot ball around noon and the bball court had the volleyball net up and a massive crowd of people hanging out dominating the gym. There was room to shoot on the front hoop but I got glared at when I walked in and someone started smashing a volleyball against the wall right next to me and my phone and belongings so I walked out. Terrible first impression of the gym, good luck trying to work out here with so many people just hanging out.

24 hour staph infection
This place is absolutely disgusting. Same exact equipment that was old 12 years ago last time I tried a membership here. Overcrowded. Two sets of dumbbells?? No air flow. Mold everywhere. No one cleans the locker rooms. You'll get a staph infection if you even look at the showers. The employees seem to have parties at night in the lobby with their friends or just lock up when they don't feel like working.
This place should have been closed by the city inspector a long time ago.

Honestly been going here for a while and the place is always stinky there is dust on all the machines and it gets WAY too hot for a gym! Like at one point the front desk girl said it was 72 and hotter upstairs where they do cardio! That just seems unsafe to me.

Anything's better than the Pearl but 3 flat benches for the whole place is retarded. How about taking out half of those idiotic machines?

More than half of the treadmills do not work properly and the filth is absolutely disgusting. The cost of membership does not match the quality of service. Staff is super and always helpful but the equipment and smell is grotesque. There is a build up of white dried sweat on all the machines. It makes it very unpleasant to work out!

I show up everyday at the same time early morning. Aome mornings (like today) i show up and lights are on but doors are locked. There is no warning it won't be open and there is no way to check and no one to call. I'll be finding another gym since this happens so often and throws my daily routine and wastes my time, gas, and effort to get here. Not being real supportive of ones fitness goals by not being open when the schedule says it is.

I purchased a membership mainly for the sauna, but unfortunately, there's only one sauna for both men and women. The gym and sauna are almost always crowded with men, and the strong smell of cologne makes it unusable for me as someone who is sensitive to allergens.

I like this gym OK enough. There's more regularly than not disinfectant and paper towels to wipe down equipment with (I do go earlier or later in the day cuz I hate when it's crowded), people are polite here, there are lockers everywhere, and lots of varied equipment and facilities.
At the same time, they could stand to regularly replace the floor mats people use for ab exercises or stretching (I forget the name), as they're usually at least a little "stanky" and I actually hesitate to use them.
I echo another reviewer in saying the weight clips are lacking! I usually have to waste like 10mins looking for a pair to do deadlifts. There should be extras in a dedicated space. And actually, more squat racks/deadlift areas would be smart. I hate having to pounce on a space like a gazelle when there are 10 racks in a place; it's so much worse here when there are 4!
And 24-Hour Fitness as a whole would do well to reintroduce an optional free orientation. I know my way around a small gym, but this one has equipment that I wish I knew how to use, just for the sake of my workouts, but when I asked to use the free personal trainer session to learn them, I got the "I don't know who told you we do that, but we don't" (which was no big deal, but def off-putting for any future interest in training. Like, help others expand their "beefcake/muscle mommy" horizons, would ya?) Ah well.

I’ve been coming here for about two years. It’s close to my house and has everything I need so it gets the job done. It can get busy so parking can be tricky at peak hours. This is beyond their control as more people are simply moving to Beaverton and the parking lot is pretty large. It’s just part of a growing city.
Things that can be improved.
This place constantly smells sour. It’s not the general smell of people working out. It’s something in the floor or I’m not even sure but it will smell sour even when I’m not working out near anyone. Its makes my workout less than pleasant.
There’s always a broken machine and the treadmills are older and often have broken screens etc. They’re usable but for the price we pay it’s kind of a bummer.
The paper towels are often out and spray bottles are often broken. I don’t know how many times I’ve gone to clean my machine and the bottle is broken or the towels are out. So frustrating.
The weight clips are old and hard to use and I always have to hunt them down. They should have extra laying around.

A guy named art today on 6-05-2024 at at least 11:00pm was working. Horrible costumer service. Horrible attitude. Seemed like he didn’t want to help at all. Will be speaking to management to hire more friendly staff

Honestly, everything is great here except one thing...
There is ZERO air circulation on the weight training floor. No fans, no cracked windows. Just 300 bodies during the rush, packed together, breathing heavily. HOT STAGNANT AIR. It's like a sauna when I lift
Can you please get like 4 big floor fans on the weight training area to get that air circulating?
