“Have been taking my dogs to Sequoia around 10 years. My last 2 dogs were rescues & had horrible allergies & the vets did all they could to help keep them happy & comfortable. I wouldn't take my new puppy any place else! Also love the fact that my dogs could board at their sister clinic in Woodburn , & that they had access to my dogs health records so I knew that if there were problems, they would be dealt with quickly & I would be kept informed. Unlike other places, in the past, the staff at both places clearly love animals & do their best to make sure my dogs/ puppy have a good experience.”

“On a recommendation from a friend we decided to make the switch to cascade summit animal hospital for our primary vet. I was shocked that they were able to get us in so quickly. With all of our previous vets we had emergent issues that would have required us to either pay an emergency vet or wait weeks. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and judge free. They manage a lot of care on the app. The app is great for vaccine and flea med reminders as well as communicating with your care team for questions. I feel like with other vets they won't answer questions over the phone even simple ones without an appointment. Price point is high- but they have to run a business I'm sure the cost of running a clinic like this is steep as well. A little more price transparency would be good.”

“This is a great vet office. We have tried several vets in the Beaverton area. An emergency caused us to have to go to this vet office. We were so pleased that we now commute from Beaverton to bring all of our pets here. They give you the information and the options but don't push you for expensive procedures you may or may not need. They just tell you what they might learn from all of the available options and even give you honest opinions on how valuable that information is likely to be. Obviously all the test etc. could possibly reveal important information but they will help you make the best decision you can on your budget and wont try to guilt you into procedures that you can't afford. Their pricing is also much more reasonable than any of the vets in the Portland/Beaverton area. We have 3 Cats, and 2 dogs one of whom is 15 going on 16. We commute because this vet office does a great job, helps you make the best decisions you can for your pets care, and in general is more reasonable in their pricing. If that sounds like what you are looking for in a vet... Make the drive and see the difference.”

“Our 15 y/o cat was terminally ill and had to be put down. I didn’t want his long time Vet/staff who’d developed a relationship with him to have to do it so a friend recommended Oswego Vet. Dr. Naomi and her assistant were so respectful and kind and came to our home to make it less stressful for all of us. The treatment was humane and gentle.A few days later, Dr. Naomi sent a handwritten sympathy card with his (ink) paw prints. And then they sent separate card to say that a tree had been donated in his honor to the Arbor Day foundation. I’m so moved and grateful and can’t say enough good things about this practice. They made a horrible decision more bearable. I’m so pleased that there’s a little tree out there with GIR’s name on it??”

We were not taken though a series of options for treatment, which I really appreciated. He simply asked us what we would like to do and was very respectful and empathetic to our response. I am grateful to have time to say good bye to my sweet Frank and a vet that supports our decision.”
“Dr. Wilson is truly an excellent vet. Not only is she able to see asymmetry that typically gets overlooked, she's able to put together a support plan to improve the horse and keep them healthier, longer. I honestly believe my sport horses would have shorter careers and less healthy lives without Dr. Wilson.”

My cats usually don't like being confined and their activities restricted, so they do try to challenge the staff, and they are still treated with kindness. I feel that each of my animals gets treated as individuals and their special quirks are always taken into consideration.”

“We have four pugs and started transitioning our kids to Pioneer about a year ago and we could not be happier. They really take the time to listen to what we are observing in our dogs, they are always willing to let us add some care for our dogs that is not what I would consider the norm. We take our old man who is severely arthritic and has seizures to another vet for acupuncture and laser treatments. The only downside for us is that we live in Beaverton and the commute can be a little pain in the bum every now and again, but with the quality care and peace of mind we get...it's worth it!!”
“The vet here are Incredible. In our case, their creative thinking, avoided our dog, having to have ACL surgery and also solve some shoulder problems. She is completely mobile now and highly active. We have looked a long time to find a clinic with this level of care.”

“Dr. Hill is a great vet and we appreciate and trust his guidance in the health of our elderly pup. When it came time for us to let her go, the entire staff was extremely respectful and allowed us the time we needed to say goodbye. When the procedure was being done, Dr Hill explained everything that was occurring and even apologized and thanked our pup while giving her the final shot. I can't imagine taking her to anyone else and we are very thankful for all the time they spent supporting Chimi and her pet anxiety suffering parents... I am sure we were quite the handful. Thanks for all you do.”
“I took my sweet frenchie Maximus here early Sunday morning, they were so sweet and kind and said he had a pain response in his hind legs which was actually good news with IVDD. Their neuro wasn't in so they referred us to a nearby clinic who talked doom and gloom From the very first doctor we saw. They said Max had no pain response, we explained that he had been given pain meds at VCA but they didn't want to hear it. The second clinic didn't MRI max for almost 12 hours then called to say there was nothing they could do. We lost him that night and are completely broken. I wish we could have stayed at VCA.”
“I moved over an hour away from my vet and my niece takes her cat here and she loves them and so I took my cat that has FAD and other issues, this time her eyes. They're great and so caring and nice. My cat is doing so much better in just 3 days! I'm so glad I came here and we have a great new vet. This place is great!
Dr Henson is so awesome and great with both my kitties. Just took in my other car for a well visit and vaccine updates and Dr Henson is so good with the cats and she really cares about them. My other car had eye surgery a month ago and she did an excellent job! I'm so glad I found this vet and cat clinic and it's a lot closer to me which is a bonus! Great place, great vet, check them out you will be glad you did, I certainly am!!?”
“This was a great inexpensive way to have a vet check! I would have given all stars if they would have written/posted what to do, as in where the line will form. It doesn't do good to get there 2 hours early then find out your in the wrong place & your not where the line starts. ?”
“I had two appointments back to back with my cat and dog. The staff there is so friendly and super great to work with. Super accommodating to my pets different personalities. It was my cats first trip to the vet since I got her and she’s sweet but so shy towards strangers and doesn’t like being picked up. They were so nice to her and let her stay in her carrier while they worked so she would feel safe. They were great with my dog too, he loved all the attention and treats. We’ll definitely be back for any future needs :)”

“We drove from The Dalles to see Dr Taylor in Ophthalmology for evaluation of possible cataracts in our older dog. The staff was kind and loving. Their evaluation was thorough and Dr Taylor explained everything verbally as well as on a diagram which we took home. Fortunately our boy will not need surgery as the eye changes are just age related and not significant. Great service, staff and care. Highly recommend.”
