Very unprofessional staff and seem to want to start fights. Very weird....i was never mad or rude. Called 3x's because my bin hadn't been delivered and they kept getting mad at me like it was my fault. 1 lady out of the two I spoke with had attitude, but the man shut me down and kept saying let's not rehash and I barely got my name in...so strange. Just wanted to explain i hadnt gotten it and would like it. Anyways after 4 weeks of expecting the bin...we finally got it. Thankfully they did come through, but oddly handled. They think someone stole the can.....but never said anything to me until the last day. Anyways I am not mad, but disappointed in how this was dealt with and how I was treated verbally.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Rich is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever had to discuss a bill with over the phone. He has zero patience to explain anything on your bill you may not understand and when he does it's extremely condescending and rude. I had trash service from here for over three years and was charged multiple $30 nsf fees despite it being more expensive than the service bill itself. The customer service gal Sylvia was always kind to me but Rich needs to find a different line of work. I closed my account and moved and am very grateful I won't have to support this company anymore.

I found them to be so helpful!The other day our garbage man (Ed ) lost a couple of potting soil bags from his load . I flagged him down to let him know and said I would get them so he didn’t have to turn around with the big truck , he says no no problem at all, he turns the truck around and picked up every tiny little thing that fell out and secured the load.I have had nothing but good service from the office and especially by the lady named Moe!From a very satisfied customer!Service: Dumpster rental

We have been a customer of SWATCO for over 25 years and recently needed a dumpster for moving a family member. We spoke with Maureen and Sylvia and found them to be both courteous and professional. I requested a dumpster to completely clean out a house, everything seemed very professional and proper when the call was originally made, since I lived out of state. I was under the impression that after 3 days they would come pick up the dumpster, unless you called prior to that and asked them to extend it. Which is generally the normal with Waste Management, which is what we use in my state. I suppose I heard wrong and they told me that in order to have it picked up I needed to call them and tell them, before 3pm as well.Once I received the bill for the service the invoice said to log into SwatCo for online bill pay, I logged in and only had the normal garbage pick up on there, so I foolishly paid that assuming it was part of my bill, and we do not have that sort of garbage pick up charge here so I was not thinking it was that. I later received a call from Maureen telling me my bill was not paid. She was rude while informing me that I was wrong. She later sent an email informing me that if I didn’t pay it, it would be sent to collections in two weeks. I have sent her multiple emails stating that I will need a formal invoice showing what is owed since I no longer have the invoice, a proper place that I can submit this to, and all forms that I have signed and submitted for this company. After a full week I have not received a response from her. It seems there are only two people that run this company, and they are rude and unprofessional. I should have known from the other reviews that they would not be worth the frustration this has caused. Never use SwatCo if you don’t have to.Service: Dumpster rental

Usually great service, been a customer for years, but recently have missed our garbage bins a few times. Drive right by. Those times I have spoken to a woman in the office who is most helpful. This time I got a manager, maybe owner. Geez was he rude. Guess if you have a monopoly you can do that.

I used Swatco Sanitary Service while renting a property in Banks. I started services in 2018. I moved out of my rental in April 2021. Swatco did a great job throughout that time. I emailed Swatco in February 2021 and asked them what steps needed to be taken prior to moving out so that I could discontinue services and make a seamless transition. I was instructed to give my service stop date. I gave the date to them over an email, and I also spoke with a lady in the office. The lady was very sweet and assured me that my services had been canceled as of 4/12/2021. Apparently, there is no documentation of that phone call. I was recently billed $92.08 and immediately questioned what was going on. I spoke to Rich Weitzel on the phone today. This was the most awful and unprofessional phone call I have ever had with ANYONE. Rich insulted me on every level. Rich interrupted me and spoke over me when I was calmly explaining the situation to him. I was told that there is no documentation stating I was cancelling service. He also stated that "This is not my first rodeo! This happens all the time! People say they cancelled and they really didn't!" He kept cutting me off while trying to come up with a resolution to this problem. I politely asked Rich if I could speak and proceeded to tell him that I did not appreciate his lack of professionalism and I did not appreciate his rudeness. I do not recommend this company! Rich was terrible to communicate with. Our small community deserves so much more than impatience and disrespect. Problem solving is key to success, I hope Rich is able to learn from this and starts treating his clients with dignity and respect.

Perhaps Swatco should simply sponsor baseball teams and get out of the refuse removal business. They get 5 stars for sponsorship, but a plethora of 1 stars for the job they are paid to do. I join those who give them one star. Too many times they have not picked up our trash and/or recycling. First they tell you that you didn't put it out in time, as if the night before pickup is too late. Once they told me i should be happy they pick up at all since we are not on their route (novel idea since we have been paying them since the dawn of time). Then when they finally concede that they failed to pick up, they offer to pick up an extra can next time. I don't have enough trash for an extra can, so an adjustment to our bill would be appreciated. No. Extra can or nothing. The only reason they can conduct business this way is because they have no competition. The County should look for a new vendor.Service: General junk removal
