Compassionate, communicative, knowledgeable and affordable- worth the drive for backyard livestock. Will definitely go again! (But hopefully not soon, hoping my herd stays healthy!)

We have been a BVS client for almost 5 years. They always make us feel like our dog is important to them. Recently Dr. Miller saved our precious pup with an emergent surgery. We are forever grateful for the quick appointment and after hours procedure.

Please be really cautious before bringing your pets here. This business removes/hides reviews from public view on Google. Yelp ratings are more honest and considerably lower, and have several instances of this office treating animals very very poorly.

So far so good. Numerous visits with my critters. Doesn't always work out well but banks vet has worked hard to support us and our animals.

We have been using Banks Veterinary Service for 15 years for our cattle herd. Back when Steve owned the practice it was always a pleasure to work with them, easy to book, and reasonable prices. Now it is very difficult to book, and the office staff is extremely difficult to work with and not very competent. I have had to explain simple procedures and it is frustrating. There is only one vet left who doesn’t seem nervous around the cattle (which are restrained in a squeeze chute). The prices have increased exponentially for simple procedures, and we feel like we are being pushed out of the practice. It is now more financially feasible to have vets from an hour away come do our work, and they are more competent. We wish we could support a local business, but as customers it is not a business we want to support.

We LOVE the vets at Banks! Won't take our critters anywhere else. Great compassionate attentive care and we never feel raked over to coals financially.

Super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff! I will only bring my pets here. They are also very reasonably priced, their farm visits were the cheapest I could find. They truly care.

Very concerned about reuniting a highly neglected dog that was abandoned for several days by it’s owner. Blood on the head and chest. Insanely bad ear infection, thus the bloody head. I was told that the dog is not likely to receive follow up care via the owners daughter nor by this vet or anyone really. We have brought our goats here, but not sure where we will go for that now. Truly horrific. Sweet as pie to my husband but suspicious, hostile, and wierd to myself. They acted really nice but in reality apparently had really negative assumptions going about myself and felt the need to treat me like a criminal. The dog followed me to my car and I asked neighbors about her. I paid almost 500 dollars for her care. Why would I as an owner of many other animals and pregnant go out of my way to steal someone’s dog from the side of the highway? And pay large sums of money which this vet was happy to take? She had no micro chip, no collar, no ID. But the vet tech thought she was being clever asking about the blue collar I lent her belonging to my dog: “oh, well she came with a nice collar.” Wow. She came with nothing. Including concern. It was four days before the ad was posted after she went missing.I noticed on the receipt they billed us for a mild or moderate ear infection. Understatement of the year she could barely function and was swelled up in the ears and paws. It took a long time to treat the ears w the wash they used. Her paws were also swelled up horribly she didn’t walk well. Her ears had lacerations on them from shaking her head so much.Priorities pretty out of wack, judgmental, fake. Hostile I would say even, in a passive aggressive way.I returned the dog after the vet, having nothing better to do than go thru fb looking for lost dogs, called me and showed me an ad for her claiming she was loved and well cared for. Despite evidence to the contrary and having treated the very neglected dog herself. It was clear at that time the owner had rarely took her to the vet and had no idea how much she weighed even. We paid for her medical care, bought her a new collar, and sent her back to a neglectful home with a heavy heart.Extremely high chance there are hardcore drugs in the home plus unstable living situation. Also likely she will be bred again for puppies - again with no medical care or ability to afford the much need medications for her skin, ears, and paws. We on the other hand have dog training experience and acreage and had ability to care for or rehome as needed.Good job banks vet, hope you’re proud. Your conduct is disgusting and vile and we will never pay for services or recommend.

My family has been using Banks Veterinarian Clinic for years. They aren't the closest clinic to us, but they're the best we've found. Doctors Christina and Nicole are very caring and great with our family pets.

I drive an hour to go to this veterinarian. They are fair priced and they obviously care about their animal patients.
