My 2023 Ford is receiving a replacement windshield after getting an oil change at Thomason Ford. The service department refuses to take responsibility for six deep scratches discovered during the ride home. Hell, the manager didn't even look at them.Mistakes happen, I get it! But good businesses own up to them and offer to make things right. Avoid taking your vehicle here, or carry comprehensive with a glass policy. My coverage just paid for itself.

I had a fantastic experience at this dealership. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and assisted us throughout the entire process of purchasing our van. I can't emphasize enough how much I would recommend this dealer, especially if you're in the market for a Ford vehicle. The paperwork process was surprisingly swift, which made the whole buying experience even more enjoyable. Jerry was great! He was friendly and helpful. He understood what we were looking for and didn’t try to push us into something we didn’t need. The whole process of buying our car was quick and really easy. Price negotiation was respectful, honest, and productive. I was asked to leave comments regarding my experience at Thomason Ford. We were camping when I went and filled my tank when I returned to my truck, the drivers side door would not latch. After returning home on a Monday we dropped the truck off at Thomason Ford with the understanding I didn’t have an appointment, it would most likely take a couple of days to work it in to their schedule. I received a call Tuesday morning explaining the latch would have to be replaced but shouldn’t take too long they had all the parts. I was told then it would cost $518 which included the $165 diagnostic fee. On Wednesday morning another call the cable inside the door needed to be replaced which would bring the cost to $650 to $720. I laughed and said please get it done. No call on Thursday. I called Friday afternoon to find out progress. Received a call back within a reasonable time telling my truck was ready to pick-up. I did ask at that time to have a detailed bill we could review together. When I arrived, the gentleman behind the counter told me the service manager was going to wave the $165 diagnostic fee. I asked for a detailed bill we could review. I very soon noticed a older man glaring at me from behind a partition. My comment, may I help you, caused him to come around to the front desk. I was told I was being aggressive and if I were to swing at him I would not get up again. I had not made any move toward him. My hands had not come off the counter. At this point I was physically shaking and angry. I ask for his name he refused. I asked for his card, he said no. I would later learn he was Bill Bosworth Thomason Ford Stayton service manager. With him standing over me I asked for my detailed bill, I asked several times but no bill was ever produced. I asked where the corporate office was, Bill who had returned behind his partition called out, this is the corporate office. Knowing this not to be true, I simply replied no it’s not. A young lady who was behind the counter simply replied, it’s in Bend. Looking the number up, I called the Bend dealership speaking to a man who did not identify himself. As I was on the phone, Bill was on the phone with the owner I was told later. I could hear Bill saying things like he’s at the counter, and we should just call the police. Before any bill was presented, I was told there was no charge get in my truck leave and don’t come back. That is what I did. My truck is back in the shop, the repairs were not done correctly. I contacted the Bend store again through their website asking for a reply, no reply. I was told several times during the encounter I was aggressive. Maybe I was, how else am I supposed to be. Nothing got aggressive or loud until I was threatened by the sales manager. The man at the counter slipped me his card before I left.

This place did an amazing job with my vehicle. I got what needed to be fixed quickly, and they fit me in even though they were booked out. I ended up paying less than the estimation they gave me, but I wouldn't assume that always happens. As someone who has had negative experiences with mechanics in the past, this place restored my faith. No upselling, random charges, or services done without approval. This place is truly amazing, and the staff are literally the nicest and most understanding people!

Don't expect to be serviced quickly or within any given time frame, seriously it's ridiculous. And communication about your vehicle and when they're done with it is hit or miss. I had to call to get updated and this was after 2 days....they've lost tires they were getting sent from their warehouse and it took days almost a week I think for them to get and install my tires when original time-frame was 2 days. And then expect to be waiting at the desk to be serviced beyond the hailstorm of incoming phone calls, evidently those come first. I'm going to be taking my vehicles elsewhere, we've had repeated problems with extreme delays in service, lost parts, and iffy communication.

My mom bought a ford flex about a year back and it's was originally 27000$ after paying over 600 a month for over a year now that my mom is trying to pay it off all at once they say that she hasn't payed any money on the car and that we owe 27000 again because the salesman stuck her with an ungodly interest rate. Basically they took advantage of her because they knew she didn't know a lot about finances. Plus when we were there the whole place smelled like it had a sewage leak.

Working with Thomason Ford was a great experience. Joey the salesmen was very helpful in walking me through all the features on my new F250. Their prices were very competitive, and they were willing to work with me on my trade in. Everyone there was very professional and easy to work with. Well worth the drive to get there from Portland and wish the local dealers were as down to earth.
