I am writing an update about this place as my joy with a used Howard Miller clock that I purchased from here was short lived. I paid $140 for something that only lasted three months. The owner/associate assured me at the POS that the previous owner of the clock was to be trusted and that this clock was a keeper. What a waste of $$! Pure expensive junk!

All kinds of antiques presented really nicely, not just hardware.

Very nice pieces in the store and nicely displayed. However, the lady that was working the floor (don't know if she is the owner or an employee) was extremely rude, condescending, and not helpful at all. She needs to find another job - not sales related.

This place is endless! Very unique finds (we found a great sign, letterpress block and vintage designer handbag) and lots to dive into. Dog-friendly!

I really used to like this store until they ruined the old JC Penny Building downtown Astoria. Go figure a vintage store ruins an old vintage building with taking down an iconic sign and painting the building gray. On top of that just plain rude customer service and this is coming from someone who has actually spent thousands of dollars in your store.

Really cool store. Lots of antiques I'd kill to have if I could afford anything in there. The owners / employees are extremely unwelcoming. I went upstairs to check out the paint selection and found someone who worked there and decided to ask if they had any space for rent (I restore and up-cycle antiques) and Was quickly cut off with a snarky answer about how they don't and will NOT have any spaces available... ever. Even though the entire upstairs was obviously rented spaces. Stuck up vintage snobs! Totally took the fun out of the whole place. I did however buy a sweater from one of the vintage clothing sections upstairs... ( so they wouldn't think I was stealing anything based on the way they were watching me) 1/10 bad experience.

Please visit! What an adventure...like going through a museum and it all fits so well in this old J C Penny building! The small knobs on the railng going up the stairs will bring you back to the J C Penny days of old...

Great place to peruse for fun and pick up an interesting piece or two. I'm an avid vintage collector and wearer and the only thing I thought was meh were the prices of the upstairs clothing vendor. They were much higher then buying online or in larger cities with not much indication as to why. Otherwise we picked up some goodies and had a lovely time.

No where else could I have found the perfect vintage desktop picture easel than at Vintage Hardware. The staff was understanding of my needs and made it simple to leave and pick up at a later date. I never imagined this existed and to have it now at one is the best feeling. thanks to the staff who was incredibly helpful.
