My dish was so flavorful. Fluffy rice with cotiga cheese and lovely picante with juicy delicious pork. The plantains were perfectly cooked. My husband absolutely loved his steak. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the mashed potatoes were a huge hit. The space is clean and spacious and the staff is very friendly and so happy to answer any questions about the food or culture. Great people!

There is an assortment of ales, IPA, hefewiesens, etc. There are a handful of board games, a pool and football table. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Portions sizes are good, youll be leaving with some leftovers most likely. The homemade tortillas are legit and tasty AF. 100% Grab a cerveza while your here to if thats ya thing. One thing to note, is that the soy chorizo is the only filling in the empanada, some veggies would be awesome. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-02

100 39th St, Astoria⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Coffee Girl made my mom’s 66th birthday so special! ?☕️ We stopped in after church for a birthday brunch, and everything was absolutely perfect! The food and drinks were excellent, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make my mom feel celebrated. A huge thank-you to Hope, who helped us figure out exactly what we wanted and made sure everything came out perfectly. And an extra special shout-out to Hypatia, the sweetest supervisor ever — she asked my mom what music she wanted to hear for her birthday, turned it on, and even brought us extra chocolate for the strawberries we brought in. ?? They made us feel so welcome and at home. My mom said it was one of her favorite birthdays ever — and I completely agree. ❤️

It's great coffee, great coffee shop, with a vending machine for after hours emergency coffee beans, and they ship their blends. I highly recommend!

Also, I picked up some very freshly roasted Ethiopian beans for home. Apparently they've been labeled as a "cult" and I can see why because if I lived there I would go quite often. :)
