Stayed in a corner suite room, we had 4 older adults sharing the room. The hotel is under construction, so be aware! It should be nice when complete, but there were screws on the floor of our room, lots of blue tape still on areas all around in our room. For our entire stay, the windowsill in the hall directly next to the door to our room had many construction supplies adorning it, haha! The women's bathroom in the lobby had 3 stalls, but no toliet paper in any and some stalls did not even yet have a holder for the toliet paper. Some elevators were closed for construction crew only. The corner suite is a bit misleading on what the view is. We were on the 4th floor, and it has 1 window only in the main area, with a west view of the bridge that is best if you are sitting down. The other window is in the 1 bedroom with the king bed, and looks south. The sofa sleeper was brand new. Luckily, we had a knife to cut the strap that was never removed after delivery, lol. The mattress on the sofa sleeper still had the bag wrapped on it. We removed all that, and after having to make the bed ourselves, it was quite comfortable. The breakfast staff member was amazing, and boy, does that wonderful lady hustle to try and keep everything up. Breakfast was a good offering, typical, and the lobby was nice, but trying to find a fabric chair not stained up with breakfast spills was not always easy. We did not visit the pool or hot tub, but we saw many guests in there as we walked by. For over $500 a night for the room, I'd prefer more attention to detail, especially in the room itself. While under construction, perhaps a "sorry for the dust and mess" small discount? That would have been appropriate considering the massive amount of construction currently.
Walkability: Close to stops for the riverfront trolley

On the edge of town but still walking distance, or take the trolly. Nicely renovated rooms. Great river views.

Do not stay here. I have never left a review on a hotel but I did here to save anyone else coming through here. Literally completely ripped apart under construction and they love to leave that part out when you are reserving a room. Pool area is dirty, hot tub doesn’t work. We stayed in room 341 and literally windows are taped over. Bathroom was filthy, garbage full of someone’s trash from before we stayed there. Shower was gross too. Ugh never coming back. I know it’s Astoria so I didn’t expect fancy, but I did expect clean and basic. This place was terrible. And honestly, my room felt like a jail cell. It was uncomfortable not being able to see outside at all!!!

The staff were so kind. The breakfast attendant was very accommodating and asked us if we needed anything. The staff let us do a late check out. The hotel has a great view of the river and it was a very fun filled weekend. It even is right next to a small public park with bay/river access. Super cool spot. Loved it.

Pros: view from room, breakfast was good
Cons: This place was a mess.
Our view from our room was spectacular, but the window was really dirty. The convenient elevator to our room was out of service. Pool was not available. Construction/remodeling was in full swing and it was very loud. Walls must be very thin, because I could hear everything through the walls. Loud TV noise and music were going on after hours, during quiet time. The rates should have been reduced during this time frame as the value was diminished. The room seemed pretty tired and in need of some TLC. Amazing view.

Construction left dust everywhere and couldn't use pool. For the amount this place charged I've stayed in a hell of a lot nice..cleaner and better rooms.

Very nice with a unique location on the river, under the bridge

This hotel sucks. Hot water barely worked, hot tub was down with no indication prior to visit. The location isn't good. The rooms aren't nice. They are remodeling so maybe it will be better

Love this hotel considering where it is and the value for money. Astoria is not a big city so one does not expect anything too fancy but this hotel has a great view under the Astoria bridge - lots of fun watching huge vessels sail past. The rooms are big and the AC responded and worked well. The customer service personnel were excellent, especially Jasmine, who went above and beyond to make sure I locked in the best itinerary for the one day I was there. Thanks.
