Super nice yarn and the only yarn store in Josephine and Jackson counties (currently). However, the service is always abysmal. Today, three staff members were too busy discussing Lady Gaga's wedding dress to help customers. There is a snobby attitude and never a comment if you happen to be wearing a hand knit, or any query as to what you are making with the $300 worth of yarn you just bought. I'm shopping online from now on.
Service was hit or miss when Dona owned the shop, but it 100% sucks now that she is gone. :( So sad since it's just a few minutes from my house.

They used to have more magazines and books, now I either order or go to Barnes and Noble to get them. Too focused on clothes.

I had an amazing experience today with Jackie, she was super kind & helpful! I’m a beginning knitter and she was able to find everything I needed to knit socks from the right needles to the perfect yarn. Definitely check them out if you want to visit some amazing people/start a new hobby!

I just needed a size of knitting needles for a project that I didn't have. I knew the size and they had them in double pointed (which would do, but can be a pain) but I couldn't find them in the circular needle size. When I started to ask if they had them in the circular needle size, I got a lecture about looking at the pattern and going by the mm size. She never did answer my question if they had the needles I was asking for in stock. I didn't buy the double pointed needles. I can get what I wanted from Amazon easier.

I am very happy with the yarn I purchased, but the the priority mail box was almost impossible to open. I finally had to use a scissor and in the process cut one of the skeins.

I love this store. The selection is wide-ranging and fabulous. There are many knitted samples of the yarns. Staff have been incredibly helpful to me every time I come in. They are very willing to discuss ideas for my project, show me possible yarns, and give me technical tips. I've been shopping here for years. With the demise of the local yarn store in Medford, Webster's is now the only place I know of that sells yarn and has a knowledgeable staff.

I ordered some Shibui yarns that are sadly going away. My first time shopping with Websters and I have to say I was really impressed. My order arrived in just a couple of days, and was securely and cleanly packed. Priority box and a sealed bag to keep the yarn from debris, odors or hitchhikers. I will definitely shop with them again.

I visited the Ashland store a couple of weeks ago and was bedazzled with all the Yarn selections. The staff were also extremely knowledgeable about the yarns, patterns estimating quantities, et cetera. I brought home some lovely mohair mohair and bulky yarn for 2 new projects.

I ordered a couple of knitting books from here. The order was shipped promptly and it was securely packed to ensure no bending. The books even had a separator placed between each, which was super smart considering it’s been HOT (100+) and humid where I live.I’m excited to find a new online yarn retailer and will definitely stop in when if I’m ever in town.

They have gorgeous yarn, but the staff seems disinterested in helping it's customers. I'm new to the area and every time I come in, they are stocking or just standing at the counter, or chatting amongst themselves. Coming from the Bay Area, this is rather shocking to me, that no one takes an interest in what you're knitting, what project you are buying yarn for, etc. It's more fun to buy yarn online and get sweet thank you notes for your business. : ( Very disappointing. I guess they have enough online business to not care about their live body customers.
