The Goodwill Store & Donation Center in Ashland is a nonprofit filled with gently used, donated items. Its purpose is to raise funds for workforce development services to enable employment. The store is not too big but has a lot, including sale and clearance racks with good finds at great prices. Donations are quick and easy, with the donation lane open during regular store hours, except when it is very hot or the AQI is over 200, during which times are limited. The parking is extremely small. A significant issue noted by customers is the high number of resellers, described as a rough problem. It is common to see people with carts full, checking items online, which makes the store feel not worth visiting for some and ruins the resource for those seeking affordable items. Some customers wish prices were better for people who are struggling, suggesting steeper discounts based on need. However, the store remains busy and appears needed by the community. Overall, it provides a good experience with great customer service, serving as a place to recycle old things without paying resale prices.
