Absolutely horrible. This place is the worst place to get prescriptions filled. 35 people in line and they're backed up from days ago. This is criminal.

Dont get your prescriptions filled here. You'll save time by literally driving to another city. Line can take minimum of 45 minutes (I've waited over an hour before). Dont call in a prescription, it wont get filled and youll have to wait in line AGAIN. Seriously mismanaged. Making a call complaint doesn't do anything. Go to Ashland Drug or Medford. Avoid at all costs.

Beware of the man most likely to help you if you pick up a prescription in the Pharmacy. There was a mistake with my order today but I could not get him to take it seriously. He was processing me, not serving me, and I did not want to piss him off so I simply took it up with the pharmacist. That worked well, but should not have been necessary. Why was I afraid to piss him off? He was ruder to the costumer two ahead of me than I have ever seen in a retail situation. Really awful. I hope that Rite-Aid can make a better hire.

I feel very sorry for the people that work in the pharmacy . Something must be done about the line for prescriptions . I went in there today and there were 15 people in line! I imagine seniors, like myself , are not comfortable standing in line for an hour . Something needs to be done. Why would any business do this ?

Called 12 TIMES trying to get through to the pharmacy. Finally got through to someone in another department who said that the pharmacy doesn’t answer calls. He then informed me that I could come in if I wanted because there is no line. If there is no line, why are they not answering calls? Next time I called, the phone was deliberately off the hook. I have never experienced this from a pharmacy in my entire life. I have illnesses that I cannot indefinitely put on hold. I cannot just drive over whenever I want. This establishment is a disgrace to the medical practice. If this is the state of American pharmacies, it’s time to move country. Oh, and good luck with the hour long lines from understaffing and merging with another stores clientele. That is if anyone is even working there anymore, I’m really not sure at this point.

I have read the negative reviews & I have to say this has not beenmy experience... I have had to pick up a few prescriptions from Rite Aid in the last few months as my regular pharmacy has not been able to source my medication.I had issues with my new insurance today & the pharmacist was amazing. She went above & beyond in getting my prescription through with a discount card & I appreciate her help. Last month I saw the male pharmacist & he was very helpful & kind. I was worried & leery abt choosing Rite Aid based on the reviews. I'm grateful I took a chance..I believe one should form their own opinions...(Sorry I don't know the pharmacist names yet, but I will learn them). Remember folks, respect is a two way street, u may not be feeling great, but you still need to respect others, unless you have a valid reason...)update..Thanks for sharing music history Jeff ;)

Literally the worst experience I have ever had at a pharmacy. I had to get some prescriptions and was told that I couldn’t get them because I have no insurance? I’m visiting the U.S. from Ireland and I’m an American citizen. The person on the counter proceeded to tell my mother that she hasn’t lived in America long enough to understand how the healthcare system works. My mom has been living in the U.S. for 30 years. You don’t need insurance to get prescription medicine, and that person is obviously a xenophobe. The person who helped us had dark brown hair, white, is 38 years old (he said he was only a couple days younger than me), and overweight. That person needs to get fired.

I decided to write a review after seeing so many heartless comments from the local residents about them on that famously trashy neighborhood site. In my opinion, those who complain and accuse the pharmacy staff not presenting their best experience are just rude and entitled. Those who accuse them for being violent and not getting their prescription drugs ready, I’m positive that they’re the ones bringing hostility because they’re too good to stand in line more than they wanted and they didn’t do their homework to fill their prescriptions (such as contacting your own PCP when the prescription runs out, I’ve seen so many customers yelling at the pharmacy staff over this, it’s so ridiculous).I’ve used Rite Aid pharmacy Ashland since I moved here a few years ago. Staff has always been helpful and kind to me every single time even in the midst of covid time. Sure, I’ve stood in line for longer than 1/2 hr but I utilize their delivery service when I can’t stand in line, which I think it’s superb on their part for making it available for free for as long as it lasted. No matter how tired they’re and dealing with challenging personalities, they’re always professional and courteous, which isn’t the easiest thing to do and I must say it’s rare in this town.I don’t always get this treatment in this town of Ashland simply because I’m not white. I get undermined and sometimes people even skip me in line (both shoppers and staff), but never at this business.I hope the pharmacy gets more staffing needs covered and each employee gets treated humanly by their patrons and their upper management. I simply don’t think those unkind customers should be allowed to return. Those are the unhappy people in general who take out everything wrong in their life on poor staff at this pharmacy!

This pharmacy is a joke. I have used other pharmacies and never had a problem. Since I switched to this one they are billing me for prescriptions that are covered, telling me they don't know what plan I'm talking about making me jump through hoops getting the info instead of them doing their job getting it themselves which is what a pharmacist is supposed to do. I'm switching back to Walmart pharmacy where the quality of service is so much better and have never had a problem other than the wait time due to being a much larger store with more customers and even then it's really not that much longer of a wait. I would not recommend this store to anyone , you're better off driving to the next town. Rite Aid has definitely gone down hill, it's no wonder why the company is going bankrupt

I cannot believe one single review that is above 1 star here. Short staff is one thing but when you are dealing with peoples medications and we have to go to the pharmacy 3-4 times in one day or over the course of a week because someone said it would be ready or a phone call was made in error or better yet that you ordered it for that person and yet it's not available you are essentially telling that person that their health does not matter. It's disgusting. Just stop lying to people seriously, the truth is better no matter what the truth is.

Filled my prescription quickly but when I tried to buy several items from the retail store I couldn't because there was no cashier anywhere to check me out and I had to leave and go somewhere else for what I needed. Definitely irritating turning one simple stop into two because there's nobody working at 7 pm.
