I stopped when they were closed to take a picture of this cute little sloth friend through the window (it goes in the microwave and you heat it and it smells like lavender- it's great for any kind of abdominal cramps!), but came back because I saw a sign they had saying they had lavender gelato! I liked it okay; I think mine had maybe melted slightly and refrozen, because it was a little icy-- more the texture of a sorbetto than a gelato-- but the flavor was good! It's definitely very lavender, so if you're not a fan of super strong floral foods maybe skip it.

The holidays can be a hectic time. (Duh!) This year I was cleaning the house, preparing food, and joyfully but exhaustedly getting my house ready for family to come stay when I remembered that two of my beloved fam members couldn't join us in Ashland this year, and that I still needed to shop for them and ship their gifts :-0 It was Pelindaba Lavender to the rescue- in more ways than one! As soon as I stepped through the door and into Pelindaba's gorgeous, serene space, my pulse lowered and my breath slowed. I was able to leisurely put together a gift basket of personal care (lavender massage oils), kitchen (lavender honey, the gourmet lavender chocolate trio, lavender chocolate chip cookies), and home (lavender soap and adorable lavender soap dish) items. Julie, the wonderful proprietor, shipped them for me (so I got to skip the pre-holidays miles-long line at the post office). I left the store in a much calmer state of mind than I'd been when I entered, for sure! My loved ones called me just a couple of days later, raving about the gift- the lavender honey and the cookies in particular. Oh- and I bought lavender chocolate sauce for myself which is ah-MAZE- ing over vanilla ice cream. I highly recommend this shop- and the whole experience.

Who knew that lavender had so many uses?! Julie, the lovely and very knowledgeable owner of Pelindaba and her staff do! The smell of lavender invites you in as you walk by. Once you're in, the beautifully decorated store is a treat for all the senses. There are lovely and natural lavender bath and beauty products, as you might expect, but you'll also find a lot of lavender surprises. If you need culinary inspiration, stop in. There are so many different ways to use lavender to enhance your food. Who knew that lavender salt and lavender mustard are a thing? (Hint: they're delicious!). My faves: the lavender treatment stick -- lavender oil in portable form. Keep one in your car or travel bag and use it for headaches, bug bites, itchy skin or stress relief. Lavender shortbread -- truly decadent Lavender pet shampoo -- my dog is not a fan, but we love how she smells and how soft her fur is after a bath!

Pelindaba Lavender in Ashland is my "go to" gift shop. I live in Ashland and love the wonderful smell when I enter this beautiful store. The owner, Julie, and her staff are very friendly as well. I recently went on vacation to a very "mosquito-friendly" spot and stocked up on soaps and sprays before I left to repel them. (Plus, I smelled really nice the whole trip!) There's something for everyone at this store, from eye masks to soaps, to edibles, to home decor. Or just stop by and take in the scent! The Pacific Northwest is known for growing this pretty and fragrant plant, and how lucky we are that Pelindaba is right here in Ashland.

I smelled this place everytime I went by and was happy because lavender is one of my favorite scents when I was making bath and body products (soap, salts, scrubs, steams, etc.). They have everything and I was most excited by the cleaning products and the edible products (coffee, tea). I'd make my own lavender scented treats since lavender is something that I have a lot of. But just being there and walking around was a joy. I will be back for the calming benefits of the scent as I peruse the store and see what they have to offer.

Wide selection from lotions to spices and cleaners, and pet items. Merchansdising very well done. They were great about educating me on items and letting me try some in Covid safe way. Great gift packages at range of value. Great stop for me for holiday gifts.

This is THE place to get everything lavender! This is a locally owned & operated small business that excels at customer service. All of the products are made in USA! Everything is created by hand on San Juan Island in the neighboring state of Washington. This store has everything from personal care products, home products, pet products, food/cooking products...anything you can think of they have it. The store owner knows her products and makes great recommendations for what you are looking for. The store is inviting and smells amazing! We should all support locally owned small businesses in our communities, they are our American neighbors who need our support. Ashland is a beautiful community and I was happy to support the small businesses there. And then I found out I could order online with FREE shipping in the USA! At checkout, I selected "Ashland" so I was sure to support the local business. I'll be a regular customer. #standwithsmall

This shop is THE PLACE to go in Ashland for unique gifts in beautiful packaging and is an enjoyable experience just to visit with the tea samples and amazing aroma of lavender wafting out to the sidewalk! The lavender comes from a family farm on the San Juan Islands and is organically farmed and distilled right on the property, so truly a Northwest product! The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful. Don't miss this store during your visit to Ashland.

Stumbled into this place, so glad we did. They have everything lavender. The gentleman working offered me some lavender chamomile tea after my son accidentally sprayed lavender body mist in my face/mouth ha. The tea was refreshing and good. You could taste the hint of lavender which offset the chamomile taste. The employee offered great suggestions for different uses of lavender. I ended up buying lavender lemonade, essential oil for migraine headaches and muscle tension, carpet scents, soaps and an herbal mix of lavender and spices to use as a meat rub and in other food dishes. I'm excited to get home to cook with it and to use the rest of my goodies. Definitely a relaxing store and I love supporting local businesses of the cities I travel to work in.
