Adam was sooo good to us. Called him up on Saturday before Labor Day with a request to check out our Chevy truck, which had a check engine light on. He told us to bring it in and he'd plug in to check the engine code. Ended up being a glow plug, which we can have done any time. Got us back on our travels up the Oregon coast. Definitely recommend this place for servicing your vehicle.

After a lovely stay in Ashland, our final stop on the way out of town for gas was less than desirable. The older gentleman pumping gas said, “you can swipe your card as good as I can.” He mumbled something about Californians and went to greet the next driver with Oregon plates. Would not recommend for California drivers.

By far the worst gas station in Oregon. I came in for DEF fluid and was charged quite a bit more than I expected. I'm disabled and was hoping to get some help with pouring in it, nope not here. Attendants were too busy smoking at the pumps. Ended up dropping the container, which had a defective pour tube. Yup, avoid this station - safe yourself the headache.

Our 2018 CRV wouldn't start on Sunday when we're driving through Ashland. We could also smell something like rotten eggs coming from the engine after driving from Portland. We feared the worst, and no place was open because it's Sunday. The hotel clerk recommended this place. It's a 76 fuel station with a full service mechanic team. We managed to jump the car and drove over first thing in the morning. They immediately diagnosed it as a dead battery and replaced it super quick. They understood we were travelers and they would do everything they could to get us back on the ride. They even offered us a shuttle if we needed it. I appreciated the service, professionalism, and courtesy. Jim, one of the mechanics, is solid dude. I strongly recommend this place.

I brought in my 1988 Volkswagen van to have my power steering lines replaced. Not only are these guys super awesome, but they really know what they are doing. These are good people. Perhaps from time to time people have bad experiences here. But people are human and people make mistakes. Sometimes people react poorly to those mistakes and get angry and I see that reflected in previous reviews. I will say personally I had an excellent experience with Valleyview auto repair. They are quite amazing.

What set this gas station apart from the one across the street is the employees. They are very kind and had such a positive attitude. This single interaction with the employee will make it the gad station I will use in the future instead of the one across the street. It just takes one bad apple to spoil the rest week opposite is true in this case. One good apple and now they will have my business from now on. Wish I got the gentleman's name because he was so nice that I would call the manager and tell them how good his service was.

So I had a nail in my tire that was irreparable while on a road trip. I drove on it for about 50 miles at this point and knew it was going to break on me so I found this shop and thank goodness he was open!!! I originally was only going to ask if he had air I could use to put in my deflating tire but then saw he had tools to change a tire so even tho he was busy working on a car when I arrived, he stopped and helped me change my spare tire. He only charged me $20 too!! He was super friendly and nice to us!! I would definitely come back here again if I ever needed any car issues fixed and I'm back in the area!!

Wow! GO HERE! Friendly, caring and knowledgeable! Tim and co. at Valley View Auto Repair saved our lives, our girls trip and our spirits! Our Honda Fit was making some awful noises after a 10 hour drive from LA . We thought we were in for the long haul, stuck in Ashland (which is by no means a bad place to be stuck) but especially because it was Saturday things were not looking good. Our destination was Portland. Tim and his crew got us in and out within an hour with a new belt! A lot of other places would have had as get a new AC compressor completely which could have been a much longer and more expensive ordeal. We appreciate the resourcefulness + dedication to getting us back on the road as quickly and affordably as possible! THANK YOU

They put a new transmission in my car after my transmission died while I was on a road trip. I was 300 miles from home. They were very respectful and charged a fair price. I highly recommend!
