We accidentally rented a unit at a wrong location and Bill was super helpful and understanding and got us a unit at the right place super quickly, he was super helpful and kind!

When I used the self-serve kiosk to obtain my unit there were some systems issues and the system assigned me a unit at a different storage location and it did not issue me a lock.I called and spoke to the manager, Bill, who went above and beyond to not only secure me the unit that I needed despite the fact that getting me set up was going to cause them to stay later than their office business hours. He was very genuinely apologetic while getting me set up and he also was able to get me a discount for my first month of storage. He then also followed up with me multiple times to make sure that I'd been able to access my unit without any additional issues and it was obvious that he cared a lot about providing an excellent customer service experience.The unit itself was clean, dry, and easy to access until later in the evening which made me feel comfortable knowing that my items weren't going to get damaged while stored and that I'd have time to access the unit when I needed to outside of my work schedule.When I was done needing the unit I had a credit remaining on my account and Bill was able to get me a refund issued immediately.I would be hesitant to use the self serve kiosk in the future until /unless technical issues had been resolved but I would absolutely use their storage services in the future knowing that my items stored there would be well protected, for the ease of access, and especially because I'd know that if I had any service related issues they would be addressed immediately and addressed in a way that would leave me feeling like my business was wanted and appreciated.

Worst customer service!!! They have store hours of hat state they’re open, when they’re not! Called customer service for assistance and they lied stating that the hours of operations state they’re closed on Monday when web/google and business front states otherwise. They have one person working three different locations and no one ever answers the phone. Your late more than 5 days and they put a lock on your unit without informing you and do not assist you to help get it removed. Really poor communication, and customer service! Can’t wait to get out of here! Maybe not all locations are this bad, but AMITY OR is awful and the corporate reps make excuses and have limited will to do what’s right by the customer.

I couldn't rent a locker from the location needed.No one on site to do this for me.We had to drive 15 miles out of the way to another locationThen back.Not good for me.

Northwest Self Storage is not a place you want to go to make a reservation. The company doesn't understand what that means. You cannot go online to save your spot for a day you need. That's what that means. I had to purchase a unit because I didn't have an apartment secured yet and before getting keys, I was given a call by the complex to say they could move me in earlier than previously thought. That meant I no longer needed the unit. But that was 3 days after "reserving" the unit. They only have a 48 cancelation policy. I didn't know I was going to no longer need it. If I were able to reserve it, I wouldn't have been charged for the unit at all.

I looked for a long time for storage space that was in between my home that I'm selling and the house I'm buying (to the south - this is very important) so that I could temporarily store my stuff while we try and sell the house. I got online and reserved the space. Loaded up my truck. What they failed to tell me (OR DID NOT MAKE CRYSTAL CLEAR) was that the storage space was not located at the address that they sent me the confirmation for. The storage in Amity, OR, (to the south) where I rented, has two physical locations. Neither of these two locations had my unit number or anything even close. Of course there was nobody onsite to ask questions and the local manager didn't answer the phone. I finally got a hold a corporate person who was very nice but she told me my storage space was 15 MILES TO THE WEST. Not sure what to do now and I'm just very irritated. I don't recommend their online reservation system but good luck talking to someone.

This storage unit space has been the BEST storage shed I’ve ever rented. DAN is a very fun and interesting manager I’ve rented at 2 others in McMinnville in the past but this is definitely the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dan at Amity Self Storage was incredibly helpful to my family in an emergency situation facilitating us getting homegoods moved into a storage unit when we couldn't be there ourselves. He went out of his way and we appreciate it so much. I highly recommend this business for anyone looking for a safe and secure storage facility with outstanding customer service.
