Took a trip to Portland for a Retro Game store marathon. Tapper’s was the best place I visited. Tons of great games, reasonably priced, and great vibe. Store owner was super friendly and helpful. All games were in good condition and worked well. They even have friendly shop cat which is always a plus. Definitely will be back!

A collector's paradise! I spent forever digging through boxes and boxes of old Skylander figures I hadn't seen in years. Rooms are filled with every type of nostalgia you can imagine. The owner's cat Miko was very welcoming and seems to love greeting new customers!

this place is absolutely amazing, I came here last summer in 2023 hoping to buy a game boy but I didn’t have enough money, but I was OK with that cause I already had one, but that’s besides the Point. I bought a Pokémon Yellow for only $75which is an amazing price if you’re going to Oregon and searching for retro consoles and this is the place

This is a very interesting and unique place for old toys and modern to retro Games and consoles. The couple that own this place are very nice and knowledgeable. You can even get accessories and even older physical pc games, another great place to find rare stuff you might be looking for or to collect.

This place is awesome! Found a little sign advertising it while in the Aloha area and ended up following it because I love visiting retro game stores. I admit, the place looked a bit strange on the outside as it appears to be a house, but the inside actually has a great selection of video games and collectibles for surprisingly low prices. Service is nice and helpful, willing to answer questions, and you can tell that the owner really cares about hobby things like what's offered here. This is definitely a place to which I will be coming back, and I'll be spreading the word about how cool it is. The epitome of a hidden gem for sure.

This store is a little diamond in the rough if you like retro game shops. Its only three rooms or so but each one is jam packed not just with classic games (at surprisingly lovely prices) but also bits and bobs and retro collectibles from all manner of franchises and games. Definitely worth a stop by, even if just to browse.

An accidental find while getting service at the les schwab down the road and boy are we glad. We had a couple hours to kill and lost track of time spending it here. So much to look at, & we brought back some great finds. Friendly people (and shop cat) all around. We will definitely be returning.

My husband and I have been patrons of Tapper's for years -- from their first store on Farmington... to when they were selling merch out of their literal garage... all the way to now. It's been fun seeing their business grow over time, along with their inventory! There are tons of games and toys to choose from, both old and new, enough that you'll be in there for a little bit just admiring all the trinkets on display. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable and their cute pet cat will most likely give you a nice tour of the shop (and probably ask for some attention in the process). Definitely worth a visit.

We never knew this store was here & were shocked to find it also has an amazing collection of all sorts of toys and video games amongst other memorabilia. It's a great place to go & they really deserve more business here- they're friendly, the store is organized really well, & the person behind the counter was able to answer everything we asked about.
