I visited this organization last week, and spent a day and a half with staff from the entire organization. Having spent 30 years in banking, I have seen a lot of different cultures, both good and bad. Everyone I met here had a smile coupled with a positive attitude. The desire to provide superior customer service is very apparent. The fact that you can call their branches and speak with someone you know, as opposed to a call center, is a significant advantage they have over their big bank competitors. I would definitely bank here.

Started out in 2008 & it was great. Now it's 2015 & all has changed. Their slogan "Service like no other" is so true but not the way it was intended. Going down hill fast. In the process of removing all assets. New fees, charges & changes tell me the ship is sinking fast.

I thought because this was a small community bank it would be more personal and fewer mistakes would be made. That is not the case. I ran into my first hiccup a couple of weeks ago when a deposit did not show up for several days (they had omitted one of the numbers of the account so it ended up in limbo). I had to drive to the bank and talk to someone inside twice to get it fixed. The second hiccup was when a refund never showed up (it's been almost a month). I had to submit some paperwork for the bank to contact the refunding company and was told by the manager (Chelsea) that it might never show up because it was on a debit card used as a Visa charge card and because the store said they were refunding the money they had to wait. I've heard of ridiculously stupid reasons for not doing the right thing, but this was the cake. I provided receipts, correspondence from the company, etc. They even spoke to the company who said they didn't understand why the bank had not credited my account. What more could they possibly want? It appears the only thing needed to completely circumvent this bank's system is to say "I'm working on it" and the customer never gets a refund. Currently looking for another bank to put our family's money in. Won't be staying here.

First and foremost, customer service defines this bank. They always listen to all of my concerns and offer very personalized service. I have worked with them since 2005 and wouldn't bank anywhere else. The only downside is the limited locations but I also don't get charged for ATM fees no matter where I am. I appreciate their whole team.

At just one phone call they rushed my ATM deposit so the money was in there for my daughters birthday party. They always go above the service you would normally expect. I live in Eugene now and still keep them. A drive to Albany is worth it for the service they provide!
