The Walgreens at 1700 SE Pacific Blvd, Albany, Oregon is the worst run pharmacy I've ever encountered! They are ALWAYS under staffed. This indicates to me that they are not recruiting and retaining effectively or don't care and respect their customers enough to staff more people. I called at 1:00 p.m. to talk to a live person in the pharmacy because I do not have access to my prescription number. I was put on hold with one person ahead of me (according to the recording). I was on hold for 28 minutes and the pharmacy went on a 30 minute meal break. I can remain on hold for the 30 minutes and have my call answered in the order in which it was received or call back later and wait again. I will hold. This is not the first time I've encountered terrible customer service at this pharmacy. It's so bad that I've moved all my prescriptions to another pharmacy, but this prescription is at Walgreens from awhile ago, and I need to speak to a person to get it switched to my new pharmacy. Routinely, this pharmacy has extraordinarily long wait times, lack the medication needed to fill my prescription, and limited hours. The poor staff that do work here are often not treated well by the customers because the customers are irritated and annoyed at best. Walgreens pharmacy has lost my business because this location does not care enough about their employees or their customers to fix this problem. It's well known among the community that this Walgreens has a management problem.

I am 100% sure no one who works at Walgreens cares about these reviews but maybe customers will. after staying in an hour line and filling my RX. they told me to wait and it would be half an jour. thats fine. i walked aroumd tue store for 45 minites amd came back and told them i was back. One tech said her order id right here, (i could see it). they told me to get back in a line of 19 people even tough i had already done that. it was paid for and verified and didnt need a pharmacists release. when i did get to the front of the line they literally handed it to me . I get the new world but this is caos

good luck getting someone to answer the phone and if you go to the store make sure you have plenty of time because they are extre slow and don't seem to mind making people wait

This pharmacy is unbelievable. I've been trying to get through to the pharmacy for the past week, waiting at times over a 45 minutes, only to have someone pick up the phone and then hang up. The reason for calling is because I ordered prescriptions online and then received a text saying there's a technical issue. Examples: Their online site is inaccurate, my husband was given a years supply of one of his medications because they kept filling the prescription and I am unable to reach them by phone. Just real sloppy And inexcusable. I'm sure their staff is doing the best they can, but some of the issues we've encountered is just bad oversight of their support technology. Just no darn excuse!

Absolutely awful. This place has been woefully understaffed - even before the pandemic. My heart goes out to the poor pharmacy technicians and store clerks. They are not setup to be the least bit successful. Take your prescriptions anywhere else in the area. Everyone will benefit.

Took over Bi-Marts prescription customers after they shut down their pharmacy. And gives Covid shots. Now the wait times can be longer than 30 minutes. Average wait time is 15-20 minutes. Sometimes 12 or more people are waiting in a small 10ft by 15ft space. Over crowded. It was bad before, now it is ridiculously bad. Does have a drive thru that gets a line so long it often blocks one entrance to the parking lot. Not a good situation here.

Horrible long wait after they left a VM saying my prescription was ready only to find out nothing was ready nor in the works. They spent 20 min on the car in front of us. They need to have people with prescription issues wait elsewhere!

Walgreens went to hell, they are more worried about giving out covid shots than ordering medications for people. I just waited in line for 45 min just to find out my monthly medication wasn't ordered, now I have to deal with the withdraws and side affects because they are being stupid. I am going to start going to another pharmacy.....

Registered several days ago for a COVID vaccine at this store and today got a call four hours before my appointment saying they don't have anyone to administer it. Was also told this has been a problem for a week, and will continue. Been going on a week and they call me the morning of my appointment, sending me into a scramble to schedule elsewhere? Why did they even book the appointment in the first place? Terrible management and substandard care.

Do NOT go here for a Covid vaccination. I understand that they are busy and it appears very understaffed but then don't make appointments you can meet! I waited over an hour and a half past my appointment time and finally went up to the counter to say I couldn't wait any longer. The pharmacist had been giving vaccinations but then left that station to go behind the counter filling prescriptions. So no one was doing the shots. The tech who I spoke to was surprised I hadn't gotten the vaccination and came out and gave it to me. One woman before me had waited 2 hours past her scheduled time. So if you have nothing better to do and want to spend hours in this pharmacy lobby knock yourself out. Otherwise go somewhere else.

Came to this Walgreens to buy Breath Rite Strips because it was closer than Bi Mart. The item was hard to find and when I finally found it, saw the price was over $13.00. Nope! Left without buying them and went to Bi Mart where I bought them for under $7.00. Don't waste your time shopping here. Too expensive!

This place is terribleeeee. I feel sorry for the people who work here, as I know it is just improperly managed. I have had to completely switch pharmacies as every time I come into Walgreens I wait 30+ minutes. So inconvenient and frustrating. Many times I had to go without medication as I didn't have time to wait the 30+ minutes. Switch to the CVS in target, I never wait more than 5 minutes!!!
