Would be awesome if they’d answer the phone after lying about delivering a package

Apparently requested pickups are not honored and just ignored. I have a time sensitive business and by them not taking care of it on the day requested profits were lost.

Good post office to use when mailing pre-paid packages.. they have a lot of parking right in front of the building and easy access to the front door. Usually several people working and there is an area cleared at the counter for dropping parcels.

True I get alot of packages but if this old postman doesn't like it he needs to retire. Got him on camera throwing my boxes marked fragile/glass.

I live in the S.W. part of Albany, behind LBCC. My complaint is the mail carrier is ALWAYS late and our mail doesn't get delivered on time. Why can't the mail carrier come at the time they're supposed to be here and have him/her come at the same time 5 or 6 days a week, not at different times? It's really frustrating, and it's upsetting me to where I'm thinking of getting a p.o. box. Forget about the postal service.?

Serious lack of care going on here. I buy frequently from an e-commerce site in the area and the packages are frequently "lost" for a week before mysteriously showing up at my door with no prior tracking activity

I run an online e-commerce store and have used this post office a handful of times. My packages, when shipped from here, are consistently late as they take atleast two days to even depart from Albany after being received.Furthermore, when I originally moved into my home some of my mail was not being delivered because my address on Google is different from my postal address. When I went in to pick up my mail the clerk at the office was incredibly condescending and threatened to keep my packages because I failed to provide the proper address to the sender. It was an honest mistake given the nature of the situation and the confusion I had about my postal address vs my physical address. Rather than being understanding I was given a 10 minute lecture and was threatened that if this occured again they would not give me my mail and fine me.

Place is SLOW. Always a long line, it was out the door the first time. Even the self-serve kiosk, which takes a very long time for a self-checkout, had a line. The second time I went, I let a lady go in front of me there as I had 6 manilas to send, and it took her so long to send one package I left without sending all my envelopes. Took me 3 trips. I'd recommend avoiding this place.

This place is absolutely the worst place ever. The female mail carrier that’s not a regular carrier. Did not deliver her mail for three days because there was a cat on our porch. After not getting mail for three days, I called the post office and was told by the supervisor the reason why my mail was not delivered is because a cat hissed at her according to the mail carrier. Then the supervisor admitted that the carrier told her she had a fear of cats. I live in the historic area of Albany where there are lots of stray cats that roam their neighborhood, so does she not deliver everyone’s mail? I did not get a notice, saying my mail stops because of an animal and the mail that was not delivered mysteriously disappeared, and cannot be found which was credit cards and Visa gift cards. The supervisor was useless and helping me resolve the issue. all she could say, was the cat hiss at her and it was a training error. I’m sorry but I cannot control stay cats in my neighborhood. According to the supervisor today it’s her last day as she decided she cannot deal with cats. But my question is where is my missing credit card and my daughters $500 gift card ? Did she toss my mail or keep it. I honestly think she made up a lie because she got caught.

Refused to deliver packages to the porch on multiple occasions the past few months because the numbers "are not visible". Numbers that have been on the house for 50+ years. On at least one occasion the driver didnt even come down the driveway to the house, yet still claimed the "house numbers were not visible". Also refused to drive down the short driveway when large boxes don't fit in the mailbox. Once hung a box on the mailbox flag with a rubber band when It didn't fit inside. Today they refused to deliver because "no secure delivery location was available". What?! Unbelievably lazy. Post master is rude and condensending when trying to discuss these issues.

Called about a missing package. They kindly told me to check the parcel locker. I called back when I was able to check the parcel locker, package for me was not there but my family members was. Told them the situation. They told me that sometimes they put it in different lockers, and the mailman would pull the package out of the locker and hand deliver it to me. I said ok. Waited for two days. This did not happen. I Called and said the package was never re-delivered to my door. I got an “ok, we well ensure it happens today” two more days, a weekend, and a Wednesday later it is still not here.So either they put it in the wrong parcel and someone now has my package, or they lost it.Several other packages have been delivered successfully. The most expensive one is the one that is missing. Highly disappointed in their lack of communication.

Been to this location 3 times now trying to get keys for our neighborhood mailbox. Been given 3 different answers and still no closer to a resolution. It has been almost 3 weeks; someone should be able to figure it out and take care of it! A lot of smoke being blown with the answers we have been given. Instead of pointing fingers it would be great if you would try to resolve the problem. Again, it is the consumer that has to pay the price while the local post office makes excuses as to why their employees are NOT IN THE WRONG.
