It's fine as far as Safeways go, but not the place to stop if you're in a hurry.
UPDATE: They just need more self check stations or express lanes. A much smaller Safeway nearby has twice as many self check stations.

Really frustrating when you have entire cart of bags of food and you can't use said cart to get the food to your car because they've suddenly decided that carts should just lock up at the wheels the moment you make it out the door. What the hell is the point of having a cart if you can't use it??
I can't imagine how rough it is if you're old and now you can't even use a cart for your food.

Checker sneezed in his hand then touched my stuff. Also had raincheck and still charged me 10$ more than should have! Course now I have to go back for my change!!

aisle are small, but have a good selection of groceries. friendly staff! best fresh fruit and vegetables. bakery also has a very nice selection of baked goods

I have been doing drive up n go often. Last time my order was about 30 minutes after my reserve time. This time it was 90 minutes late. 1 package of chicken (out of 3) was absolutely bad. Smelly bad. A package of strawberries had 5 edible berries in it (I have pics). The app forced me out, and I spent an additional 15 minutes waiting to talk to someone, who gave me a credit..... that I probably won't use, as I won't be ordering again. I don't blame the shoppers, they are doing their best. But this isn't ok. I used to have a good experience, but I won't be shopping here again.

The manager of the cashiers was so blatantly rude. I was just figure out how to scan celery at the self checkout and he walked up and thought I was stealing… I was very offended and think that he needs an ego check!
